Up-to-date, practical and trusted
I used LP guides when I travelled in my 20s, and always liked how practical the information was for the average and/or budget traveler. Now two decades later :) researching for a family of four, we started with the internet and YouTube, but the amount of information was overwhelming, and at times hard to determine how accurate/legitimate it was. This guide was a great starting point to decide where we wanted to go, and find trusted sources and sites to make purchase or research further. Since we explored several areas, this worked well, but it is a giant book to travel with :) and covers so much that a region- or city-specific guide might be more useful in the future.

Itโs a brick of a book
Iโll keep this short and brief. As a long time backpacker I have to say This book is too bulky to be traveling with if you travel on the light. The book weighs about the same as 2 pairs of jeans. This will def put me over the carry on weight limit. Im returning the book and wonโt be taking it on my journey.

Not nearly as much info as you'll find online
I've always used Lonely Planet books in the past but after receiving this book, I realized that I can find a lot more information on the internet than I could in this book. I guess the days of lugging travel books around is past.

Was excellent on our most recent trip to Spain.

Good but not as informative on places as these guides used to be
This guide is well presented and seems to have a lot in them until you look closer and actually scant. I compared this to my old Spanish Lonely Planet guide from the early 2000s which featured more towns and villages etc (and more useful information about them) and more stuff to see between the main cities than this new one

Very informative
Really interesting book. Covers all of Spain. Ideal to browse through to plan trips and helps you to decide which places to visit when you get to your destination

Very broad guide with great info
Really helpful guidebook with great hints and tips. Is very broad even covering spains islands, so understandably if you're looking for high detail on specific area would be better off with a guidebook for that area.

My Travelling Bible
Every time I take a long trip, the Lonely Planet of that country is my traveling companion. It sits in my hotel room, as it is too heavy to carry around, but I take photos of the day"s itinerary and it's done!Lonely Planet covers EVERYTHING there is to know, and some not so well known places/ Museums to visit. If Lonely Planet recommends it, I am there.:)
