The Life of An American Jew in Israel AND Benjamin H. Freedman-in His Own Words

Puts the Jewish Accusations in Perspective
Short and useful overview of the Jewish question, so to speak. People online seem to blame the "Jews" for everything. What this book, written by a man who eventually paid for his revelations with his life it appears as he disappeared soon after it was published, demonstrates is that there are two basic divisions of the Jewish people- the Ashkenazi and the Safarti. The Ashkenazi are immigrants from Europe and not related to the 12 tribes coming primarily from the steppes in Russia by conversion not birth. They make up the majority. They are also socialist and Communist in orientation generally speaking and initiated the kibbutz systems etc. They don't like the other type of Jew, the Safarti, who come from the middle east and get along more with the Arabic people since originally they are from the same bloodlines. They are fewer in number and are more closely related to the original 12 tribes. They are treated with prejudice by the Ashkenazi (non-Jews really). The term Jew came from the tribe of Judah and the 3 tribes that made up the Southern Kingdom. The Ashkenazi have nothing to do with either.Read the book for the rest but if you have an open mind you will understand that it is NOT all Jews who are the problem just as it is not ALL of any nation. A small minority, concentrated in the Mossad (Israel's secret CIA-type of organization), are the deceivers. So, all of these people claiming the Jews are responsible for everything lack education and perspective on the issue and the people. This book will help provide that. If the issue is of interest it will be a good clarifying place to start. It definitely helped me to a better understanding of Israel and its people and problems within itself and towards others.

Extraordinary first-person account
Even though this book was written several decades ago, it is perhaps more relevant than ever. How did Israel get to be this way? I have visited “The Holy Land” four times, yet I knew very little about the inside story of their socIety. Did you know that Ashkenazi Jews and Sephartic Jews were actively discouraged from becoming involved with one another, nevermind Ethiopian (black-skinned) Jews? I rate Freedman’s account as first-rate. He certainly pulls no punches.

A Different Perspective
"To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize" – VoltaireThis was an interesting book to read. Originally released in 1984, it certainly must have created ‘a lot of new friends’ for Jack Bernstein upon its dissemination into the public domain. This narrative contradicts some of the one sided reporting by the controlled media. Remember, propaganda and ridicule are the most powerful weapons of all. In order to view and understand the history or reality of the past, one must view all the concurrent and simultaneous events as part of an interactive whole. Also read Facts are Facts by Benjamin Freedman for additional perspective.

A must read for every American
The author died after publication. He tells the candid experience he had in Israel as an Ashkenazi Jew and the extreme caste system and discrimination he experienced in Israhell. Every Jew and gentile should read this. Very easy to read.
