Face Paint Palette Kit, Rainbow

I needed some face paint for my 4-year-old's Halloween costume. The only make-up I could find in stores was rated for 8yo+, or were cream makeup, which I wasn't keen on using. When in doubt, check Amazon. SO glad I did. This face paint is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Water activated, so no greasy feel. Dried completely, so though my son wiped it off over the course of the evening, it wasn't messy. A little goes a long way, so this kit should last a long time. Washed off easily. In short, perfect for what we needed. Reading other reviewer complaints about the paints being "dry" . . . Be aware that each little pot of color has a plastic film over it that needs to be removed before you wet the paint. And you do need to wet the paint, like a watercolor. It only takes a little bit of water to get a nice consistency of paint. I kept these little pieces of plastic to replace when I was finished in order to keep the colors clean in their pots. Also, be sure to order the right collection of colors. I see that some of the reviews say that the kits are missing colors. Not all kits have all the colors. I ordered the “Halloween” color collection, and it has a variety of colors, as well as an empty spot where you can blend your own color. Overall, I cannot recommend this product highly enough for parents who want an easy, kid-friendly face paint for Halloween, parties, and make-believe fun.

I love working with these paints . The best face paint on the market. I have never had a face I didn’t want to paint with these. Easy to blend to make other colors. Add a little water and it goes on smoothly. Easy to wash off with some soap and water.

Got these to use as water activated graphic liner, was SO happy to see the pans pop out individually and are all in their own plastic holder. I glued mine to another little box to keep them neat. The colors are great, it takes getting used to to know how much water to use, YouTube is great for tutorials. Get the brush wet then mix in the paint saturating the whole brush, more or less water depending on how opaque you want it. They wash right off with water since they are water activated, they are not waterproof but last for hours until wet. Love this set!!

This face paint kit has earned a permanent spot in our craft cabinet. We pull it out whenever the weather turns and someone needs a creative outlet — dress-up hits differently when you can actually *become* the tiger or the butterfly or the very specific superhero of the day. The colors are genuinely vibrant, not the chalky pastels you sometimes get with kids’ face paint. A little goes a long way, and the white and black are especially useful for outlining and detail work. The thing that pushed this from “good” to “we will buy this forever” is the cleanup. It comes off skin easily with just soap and water, and — this is the part I cannot stress enough — it washes out of HAIR. Even when there’s a LOT of it. Ask me how I know. No tears, no panicked Googling, no weird tinted bath water the next morning. Hypoallergenic, no skin reactions for us across many sessions. The included applicators are fine, though we eventually added some cheap craft brushes for finer details. **Pros:** - Bright, true colors - Washes off skin and hair easily - Hypoallergenic - Great for open-ended imaginative play **Cons:** - Applicators are okay but not amazing — grab a few craft brushes if you want more control Worth every penny.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I purchased this face paint along with the mermaid stencils for my daughters mermaid theme party & it was such a hit!!! My daughter had invited about 20 of her friends to her party (boys & girls) & they all loved it. All the colors showed up beautifully on all different skin tones. Everyone's faces were covered in beautiful artwork. Even the adults got in on the fun! It was also very easy to apply. My best friend volunteered to face paint. She had no prior experience and was able to do it no problem. The face paint lasted through the kids playing outside in the warm weather & jumping in the bounce house. When it came time to wash off it was easy to clean with a warm wash cloth. A couple of children got some on their clothing and it washed right out. The sponge that comes with it to use to apply the face paint was soft & easy to clean. I do wish it came with a couple more sponges but they can be purchased separately. I'd say this was the kids favorite part of the party and would recommend it to anyone.

I had never done face painting before but wanted to paint faces at my 3 year old son's lion-themed birthday party. The colors were bright and vibrant and a little color goes a long way so the colors will last a long time. The sponge is great for applying an all-over color. The brush is great for the details. The sponge well can be used for water and then there is an empty well for mixing colors. My son had fun painting Mom's face too and asks often to paint faces just for fun. The colors stay until washed off and it comes off easily and completely with water or baby wipes. I recommend this kit to anyone interested in body and face painting. I have tried other brands like the ones sold around Halloween in craft shops and there is no comparison. Go with this kit and you will not be disappointed!!! UPDATE: Over a year later and after many faces painted I am just now running out of white (did some phantom of the opera's). Ready to place an order for a new kit! Haven't found anything better than this stuff. I would not risk trying any other brand. The colors do fall out of their wells rather easily if it's turned upside down and that may be what is happening with so many comments of missing colors. Real shame, it's great stuff! I will take a chance and definitely order again and again.

My 8-year-old granddaughter is happy with it, and that's the main thing. She painted her sister's and cousin's faces as well as her own on Christmas afternoon. However, I was not impressed for the price. Just be aware that (1) there's only a small supply of each paint color--a disk about the size and thickness of a quarter, (2) one brush with many colors means smeary colors, and (3) the paints fall out of the tray during shipping. In fact, I'd almost bet that the reviewer who said she had no black paint was victim to this. I thought I had no yellow--found it in the bottom of the box, well sprinkled with bits of other colors.

Exactly what I needed to paint my daughter's face for Halloween. I thought I saw another review that said it didn't include black, and assumed I'd need an eyeliner pencil to finish my design. I was happily surprised to find there IS black in it - as well as bright pink, silver, metallic light blue, metallic purple, green, yellow, and white. The paint cakes are about the size of a US half dollar coin. I put a few drops of water on and rubbed it in with the provided brush and got a nice opaque consistency. The included sponge is nice for blending. The provided brush is not as small as I would like for detailed designs, but for most designs it's just fine (and an appropriately sized paint brush is easier to find than a good face paint kit, so don't let that make the decision for you). The book has some fun ideas, each shown in three steps. There are no word descriptions, so you have to think a little bit to figure out how they did some of the painting. Overall, I'm very glad I got this kit. The colors are perfect for a little girl, it's a reasonably sized palette (about 6"x9"x1") so it will store easily and it will keep for about 18 months after opening, so I'll be able to use next Halloween too.

Producto perfecto, se aplica rápido y bien y sobretodo para mi lo mas importante, se quita también muy rápido solamente con agua templada y listo!

La mejor pintura facial que he usado nunca! Se pinta super bien y lo mejor de todo aguanta a la perfección (siempre que no la mojes) y después se va genial incluso con una toallita. Dura muchísimo y sin duda volveré a comprar más cuando se termine. Y un acierto el librito con ideas de maquillaje.

Estas pinturas me han sorprendido para bien. Pintan y cubren muy bien, los colores son vivos, y luego se quita facilmente con agua.

Es lässt sich sehr leicht damit arbeiten ... das Farbergebnis im Gesicht sind Top Die Farbe lässt sich auch ohne das man vorher die Gesichter der Kinder eincremt total einfach abwaschen . Also...ich bin super zufrieden.
