Great mic with bonus.
The mic is what you should expect, high quality and great sounding. What more the stand is also a high quality stand and it comes free with the mic. The cable I haven't tried, but its great to have a spare. Definitely get what you pay for in the high end mic area.

Ridiculous - Thread for Mic Arm Doesn't Fit the Mic it Comes With
How the hell am I supposed to use these items together when they don't fit? There's not even an adapter included. Greedy company appears to be forcing you to either return the product or purchase their own mic attachment.

Quite a good package.
Mic is genuine.Mic stand is a K&M (König & Meyer), which is one of the reputable brands out there.And they threw a XLR cable too.Very convenient to get you started right away.If you found the mic holder wont fit, EASY FIX.Take out the brass fitting inside, and the mic holder will fit to the mic boom stand.Please also note that the mic is condenser based. Which needs Phantom Power to make it work. Some mixer says Phantom, some says +24volt. Activate that switch.

The defacto microphone for in-studio voiceover recording an on-location camera shots
I grabbed this package to upgrade the RE27 that I have been using in my home studio for ages. The microphone is perfect. The included microphone stand retails for $70 or so alone, so it's a great deal. Plus, they throw in an XLR cable.The only word of caution is that the enclosed microphone mount does not affix to the boom arm without an adapter that you'll have to purchase separately. I wish I would have noticed that while purchasing, as now I have to wait a few more days for that extra piece to arrive.
