We did a project on Antarctica and used the penguin theme as a game. The smaller kids and the bigger kids enjoyed using their math skills to balance the scales.

Game functions as needed. Game Parts and box came already scratched and used looking. Kids love it though.

ordered twice. First one arrived without a 3 and had two 4s. Second came without a 7 can had two 9s or 6s. Literally zero quality control. No issues with exchange of first one Guessing won’t have an issue with second. But will return for refund and buy from another vendor. Do not recommend this one.Positive note: it was very engaging for my 4yo granddaughter. She played with it - and made numerical connections.

This is an amazing teaching tool. It demonstrates so many number sense concepts visually that are so hard for kids to grasp. I teach special education and am a huge fan! I will be using this in my classroom for years. 5 stars for versatility number lesson are literally endless. 4 stars for durability and sturdiness. One star off for the balancing mechanism. It is not “delicate” but not iron clad either. We have a look don’t touch rule in place because I want to be able to use it for years and Sped kids are fairly rough on manipulatives. My students love the penguin theme. Could jot be happier with the purchase.

I am not yet sure about its durability or sturdiness because I have only had it for about a week. Nevertheless, I love it! The numbers balance perfectly with the amount of objects matching and it is helping my students grasp concepts!

We really like the detail given to the small penguins. There are multiple ways to use this product making it very versatile.
