Yes, its truly perfect. However, it's probably that way because I took this screen, with my Samsung Tab A and its broken screen, to the local repair shop. 30 minutes later and $40, my Tab A has a great, unbroken screen.Shh: this isn't the first time my tablet JUMPED off the bed and fell onto the floor...and, of course, it did that all by itself with no help from me.This screen kit is perfect; price seemed about right.For what its worth: I'm not an idiot mechanically. However, the 1st time this happened, I was about to do the repair on my own. As I started, I realiZed that it IS possible to bust the tablet. That's when I packed everything up and sought out someone who actually knew what he/she was doing.

I'm very tech savvy for a mom and I was able to successfully take off the cracked screen and install the new one. However, without a how-to video with step by step I did make a few mistakes. 1. I almost removed the glass first without taking the case and back off to unplug the digitizer. 2. When I got to unplugging the digitizer, I didn't realize it was clipped so I broke off the flip fastener that was supposed to just be flipped up to remove the 'plug'. I was able to successfully fix this issue, but the screen would not work without the fastener replaced. 3.The plastic edge around the edge is damaged due to me trying to pry the glass off by myself with no instruction.The product itself works as intended and functions great there's just not a lot of instructions on how to replace for regular people like me. However, I hope by sharing some of my mistakes I'm able to help someone like me to be able to do this on their own.

I didn't get to install it because I ordered the wrong one but the quality of the product and the quality of the told was pretty good and it came nicely packaged but i head to return it

Screen works great once you get it installed. I have T580 and YouTube has some good videos on how to remove the old screen and install the new one . However what I wasn't expecting was the cut out for the home screen button on new screen to be a nanometer too small for the button to operate without getting stuck in the new glass, I attempted to wiggle it free and the new glass cracked.... :-( So I had to order another screen, when I got the second screen I took the button off and checked to see if it fit first and discovered the same problem. I had to file the edges of the push button down with small gauge file to get it fit inside the cutout. Once I ensured it fit, it easily went back together and now works fine. But beware of this if you decide to go this route to replace your screen.
