I've been a BTS fan for about three years now, and I've learned so many things I didn't know before about their roots and beginnings. This is a thorough exploration of BTS' development throughout their musical career and contains great analysis of their entire discography. Highly recommend this book if you're curious to know more about BTS!

This book is very organized and well put together. They break songs, talk about members, solo careers, and even the people who are supporting them (writers, producers). This is all great information to learn. I think this is a really awesome book for those who want to know about BTS.

An incredibly well written and well researched book that gives an accurate and thorough history of BTS. The authors passion for kpop and specifically BTS leaps off the page and makes you want to keep reading. The book is also visually stunning and colorful. The perfect book to read on the middle of a pandemic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

This book is pretty cool. I wasn’t expecting to be that big (10.5 in x 7.8 in) and it weighted almost 3 pounds! but it’s surely amazing, the material of the pages, the art illustration. Viz Media did a pretty good job in something different than a manga. 😎

I love the book overall. The only problem is that some pages were loose. So now i need to get those glued in without damaging other pages.

With enough content for new fans and established ARMY alike, this book has something for everyone! And all wrapped up in a bright and fun package with great photos and design. Highly recommend!

How someone who talks so much about other groups needing BTS success wrote a book about BTS is beyond me. Spend your money on something else.

Conocí este libro en 2020 porque la autora estuvo presente en el Hallyu Fest en México ese año para promociarlo.Es una pena que en GoodReads mucha gente canalizara su coraje hacia unos comentarios que hizo en un podcast y en twitter que no favorecían a BTS y la tupieran con críticas bastante negativas, que no tenían nada que ver con el contenido del libro pero que afectaron significativamente en la calificación de la misma. Independientemente de si estamos de acuerdo o no con su opinión, es su opinión, y si su libro es objetivo, no tiene por qué interferir con la calidad de su trabajo o desacreditarla.Yo quien compró este libro y leyó cada una de sus páginas, les puedo asegurar que no es tan pésimo como lo pintan. Sí, hay partes que parecen ser sacadas de Wikipedia porque se avienta párrafos muy extensos, sobre todo en la cronología de los premios que han ganado, que han sido bastantes. Y sí, es un texto pesado, y el formato no ayuda mucho a que la información sea digerible. Esta lectura no es para cualquiera.Pero, reconozco que la información es útil y ayuda bastante para quienes no tienen idea del mensaje que hay detrás de las canciones y videos musicales de BTS. Fue un acierto de la autora haber hecho una linea del tiempo de toda su discografía y comentar en cada pista su significado. Su libro, aunque solo habla de BTS, ayuda a desmentir muchos mitos que la gente, que no sabe nada del k-pop, ha creado alrededor de ella, que solo son grupos pop-coreográficos con música vacía cuando realmente hay bastante fondo y sustancia en su arte.Su libro resume el mundo de BTS y el papel que juega ARMY con todo y sus matices. Dénse la oportunidad de leerlo, comprenderán por qué BTS y el k-pop son un reflejo de Corea del Sur.
