An excellent multi-pen option
I mostly write with a pencil but I like having a pen with me in case I need to sign any documents, so I started searching for a multi-pen that had both of these functions in a relatively slim package for daily carry. The sharbo won out over similar products primarily because it was one of the few that had the option to include a .7mm pencil to the body. I do use .5mm pencils from time to time, but I usually prefer one with thicker lead when on go to avoid the lead breaking or from tearing the paper I am writing on. You can get a pencil refill for the sharbo in either .5mm or .7mm. I selected Zebra brand ballpoint pen refills, one black (signing) and one red (highlighting/emphasizing notes). With the small size of the refills, I figured a ballpoint pen would last longer than a gel type refill. Please note that the Zebra refills are close but not exact to standard D1 refills. You can use D1 refills from what I have read, but they may be a bit loose and require a thin layer of tape to fit more snuggly. Their refills use what they call "4C". You can also search for Sharbo refills and it should point you to the types of refills that will fit. A good note is that this multi-pen is slotted for 2 pens and 1 pencil. You cannot include 3 pens as one slot is specifically for a pencil. It is also helpful to note that you will need to purchase your own refills to go with this pen. It will not come with any! I knew this going into the purchase, but thought good to include here. Installation of the refills is relatively easy, with unscrewing the writing side of the body and pressing the inserts into the slots until it pushes the slot back a bit. The overall construction of this model is solid and feels fairly well balanced making it comfortable to use. The body of the pen has labels of "I" "II" and "III" to note which pen/pencil is coming out, with the "I" always being for the pencil component. There isn't really a locking mechanism, or at least one that has a solid click to indicate when a component is in or out of use, but the mechanism is pretty smooth and I am not worried about accidentally rotating a component open or closed accidentally. My only major issue with this product is that the eraser is underneath a screw down cap, truly emphasizing that this eraser is to be used only in dire circumstances. I prefer a large exposed eraser for my daily pencil, but for a backup writing implement, this is acceptable. The screw cap also makes the whole thing look sleek and the tip of the cap is a rubber material that helps with turning pages so I suppose that is handy. Overall, this multi-pen has satisfied my needs as a writing implement to carry around daily and I will gladly use all day if needed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid yet slim multi-pen with customizable options.

This pen is incredible!
Since I first figured out pens like these existed, I’ve really wanted one, however I just haven’t been able to stomach the price. Recently I finally pulled the trigger and bought this one, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The pen is solid metal and feels incredible. It weighs more than a normal pen but is not too heavy for prolonged usage. The switching mechanism feels awesome and I can’t stop fidgeting with it. The cartridges are not hard to find and aren’t unreasonably expensive. The pen is also remarkably thin, thinner than any other pen I own, in fact. The ability to have a pen and a pencil on me at all times is very practical. I don’t regret spending the money on this pen, in fact I somewhat wish I had bought the nicer, more expensive trim model.

This pen has good durability but is very picky
Beware when buying this pen because it is very picky about D1 refills. I ordered little refills from the company that makes those dunbuong multi pens and I was disappointed because as soon as I put them and trying to transition from the other pens and pencil it got stuck. When I opened the pen I noticed how lose it was in the slots and when I turned it upside down the refills immediately fell. . I’m not sure if it was the refill which had a size of 2.65 cm. The pen works great exactly as I expected it to and there was almost to no rattling. The shipping takes time but it’s worth it because the pen feels premiums do proffesional.

Ohhh yaaaaa..
I am a drafting pencil collector and love this multi-pen. It exceeded my expecations in every way and is, without a doubt, the greatest writing tool I have ever used. It can hold two D1 sized pen fillers and a mechanical pencil insert. I use the .3mm mechanical pencil attachment and it is so amazing. I easily hold eight .3mm leads in the tube. Weight: perfect, heavy but not too heavy (premium feeling), all metal, balanced in the middle. Size: perfect, like a drafting pencil in length and diameter (actually waaaaay thinner than I imagined). Construction: incredibly well designed and sturdy. I was actually shocked by the quality and sturdiness. I am EXTREMELY happy with this purchase. I searched for a long time before pulling the trigger and will be a life long customer (unless it is one-upped... A feat I find nearly impossible to achieve). Take it from me-- you will not be disappointed.

Excellent Pen… If you get a good one
First pen they sent me did not work. Twisting it would not rotate the cartridges at all. Returned it for another. Second one works perfectly. I guess quality control is hit or miss on these.

A great personal writing instrument.
One of the best of this type of pen/pencil made. Quality construction throughout. Does not come with any writing refills which need to be ordered separately. However this gives it great flexibility as the user can decide what refills to use, including color, and tip size. However with so many options from various vendors it can be time consuming in locating all the options and deciding which ones to purchase. So far I have not had any issues with any of the suppliers.

Premium is an under statement!
This is a great product, the weight of the body feels really premium and sturdy. The finish is really nice and feels great in the hand. The thickness of the pen is great! I was expecting it to be thicker but it is thinner than expected. Just remember that these are ONLY sold as the body. The refills are sold separate but well worth the investment in the pen. I bought the 0.3 mechanical pencil and 0.5 emulsion refills in black and blue.

Super!

Watch out, this is a empty pen. You need to buy the refills! Overall the quality is good and finely engineered

I found the pen, with 2 ink and 1 pencil cartridge, pleasantly weighty without being bulky or unbalanced. I subconsciously got used to holding it during meetings and rotating it in my fingers. The thickness of the barrel is also good for extensive periods of writing. The clip has a slight give, just enough to grab and hold on to a pocket or briefcase pouch. The rubber is accessed via a lid which screws off and never comes undone. I've used one official ink cartridge and one cheap non original which fits fine and only has a slight issue with going past the original one, when extending it. As they are much cheaper it's worth it, though the original cartridge has a nice pointy tip and writes beautifully. I did notice some very slight rubbing on the very edge of the pen's tip, it may have been due to being left in a bag carelessly, but the rest of the body isn't showing any signs of damage yet even after 3 weeks of almost daily use. I still can't believe 3 functions have been fitted into such a thin pen. *EDIT* The pen got a scuff after getting loose in my bag and rubbing against something hard - you can see it's not pure aluminium but coated plastic now. It was my fault though. But it did also become scuffed around the very first circular edge at the tip, though it is a minor issue. I have actually stopped using the pen because the replacement original cartridges are far too expensive for how long they last, especially if you intend it for daily writing - and the cheap equivalents produce a very thick line, which I find unsatisfying to write with.
