HOOVER CleanPlus Carpet Cleaner & Deodorizer 32 oz, AH30335NF

This does a really good job at getting carpets clean and looking good. My carpets get put though the mill on a daily basis and I was actually surprised at how well this cleaned them considering a spot treatment is recommended. I personally only ended up having a few small spots that I went over a second time instead and that took care of them. I didn't notice the scent really much at all so it definetly isn't an overwhelmingly strong scent which isn't a problem for me but some people seem to be bothered by anything strong so I thought it was worth mentioning. I'll be buying it again.

Purchased this for use with my new Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Washer FH50150 (from Amazon). This was my first time using a carpet cleaner and I was not sure what to expect. I can't believe how well this solution worked with my carpet washer! It did a great job on high-traffic areas, removed a small stain of Methylene Blue (aquarium medication); and left a pleasant scent in the room. I pre-treated tougher areas (including the Methylene Blue) for 5 minutes with Capture Carpet Spot & Stain Remover. I had to wash, rinse, pre-treat and clean the Methylene Blue stain a second time but I think it's a miracle it came out. I was even able to clean my couch with it because of the pleasant scent. It's crazy to watch the tank fill up with dirty water from a couch that appeared clean. Next to be cleaned will be my outdoor cushions! I would definitely buy this product again.

Smells nice and is affordable. Does an okay job on stains. Does not take out freshly spilled grape juice. It did get out an older stain from chocolate milk. Yes i have kids, lol!

If I had more nerve (or a couple glasses of chardonnay under my belt) I would post before and after pictures of my son's carpet. I mean, it's not totally his fault. Eighteen years ago when we picked out his oyster shell carpet, we had only a few color options. Plus, pregnant with our first child, I wasn't the best decision maker. ANYWAY, within the last 6 months, 14 year-old David has decided a clean room is a good thing. (yes!) But his carpet looked hideous. Most of his projects were completed on that floor and it showed. I shopped Amazon and finally settled on the Hoover. David did use over a container and a half of the cleaner undiluted, but his carpet is amazing. So amazing that he makes us take off our shoes before we enter his room.

This is a very well designed machine. Don't forget to put the screws in the handle, it is not a click and fasten assembly.You might expected leaks, carrying so much water around Not the case. But just a few suggestions. Don't try to do alarge area . Select an area about 10ft by 5ft and do the soap and rinse cycles on that area ,then empty the waste pot(usually very dirty looking water and some carpet fluff) Watch out if you walk off the carpet onto tile or wooden floor as yourfeet will be slippery and you may fall. The machine is lightish in weight but doing several room carpets at once is agood workout. When changing the water and waste tanks at the same time put the waste tank back first. I did the reverseand within seconds there was a big pool of water on the floor. This is an excellent machine and the price amazingly inexpensive.

Husband and I bought a Foreclosure 4 years ago, and honestly I don't know if the carpets had been cleaned prior to us moving in. We had a room empty because we are turning it into a nursery, so we decided to use our never-used Hoover carpet cleaner and this cleaner was the sample that came in the box. I almost cried when I saw how gross the carpet was!!! This stuff works like a charm to get the dirt out and add a nice fresh smell, without making the carpet feel crunchy afterwards. I promptly bought two more bottles as soon as we did the nursery room so we could finish the rest of our house. Highly recommend.

Even when mixing exactly as recommended, this product gets very sudsy. Cleans well though.

Had purchased a new Hoover carpet cleaner. Have been in our new house for about 6 years and had not cleaned the carpet even though we have very high traffic. For example 22 grandkids at last count and most live near by. The Hoover instructions is to use their cleaner as others may cause problems. I have generally found that it is best to do as the instructions say when using a new product. The carpet cleaner is not cheep but I went to Amazon.com to get the best price. A trial sample can with the Hoover and I used it and though I did not put a lot of effort into the cleaning job, it was very noticeable to others as to how cleaner it looked - which is saying something as the carpet we have is designed to not show dirt and such to any real degree. Bottom line: Good product that does a good job.

Used on boyfriends gross white bedroom carpet that must be 30 years old. It's cleaned it right up and made it look newer again. Awesome product will repurchase again and again.
