Learn to Play Bagpipes, Complete Bagpipe Kit

If you are looking for a legitimate instrument to learn on or play, this is not for you, its a cheap imitation, mine arrived missing the chanter (the piece with the notes on it) and the book was only a copy of the book stapled together. I contacted the seller he said he would send the missing pieces, it has been months and all he gives are excuses, do yourself a favor and save your money or look for a legit seller with a legit instrument.

It's hard to know where to get started with such a difficult instrument and this kit points you in the right direction. Everything you need is included, chanter, pipes, instruction book, and at a price that makes giving it a try affordable. Granted, it is not a set of concert quality pipes, and it isn't represented as such - but it is a great place to start.

Don't throw away your money! Get a decent practice chanter ($50-$150, depending on how much you care to invest) and tutor book, and find a band that teaches (most do). It takes about a year to move from the chanter to highland pipes, don't rush into it and seek the help of another piper when you're ready to purchase a set of pipes. There are a lot of poor-quality instruments posing as great deals online - instruments that will not tune properly or are not playable at all, which lead to many beginners quitting in frustration. Stay away from Pakistani pipes, look for African Blackwood.
