Ocushield Anti Blue Light Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPad Pro 11" (2018-2022) iPad Air 4/5 (10.9") - Blue Light Filter for iPad - Anti Glare - Protect Your Eyes & Improve Sleep

This is the second one that I have purchased. I broke the first one, by dropping the ipad, but the protector did it's job and saved the screen. Now, about the blue blocker part, and does it work? Well, I think I am sleeping better since installing the screen protector, and maybes it's the placebo effect, but I am not taking any chances, so will continue to use these on my devices. I do wish they were a little cheaper, but that is really my only complaint.

Works like it's supposed to. Doesn't change colors or clarity either!

I can't understand why they market a product and make it so difficult to get the right one. They are easy enough to apply, and seem to work well once you actually get the right one for your device. In my case it was different models of Ipad and the confusing nomenclature that is assigned to sizes. Apple lists device dimensions, Ocushield uses diagonal screen diameter conflating Pro and standard models. The best way to accurately determine the right item is to email Ocushield customer service directly with Apple's model number and they will respond with the one to purchase according to their terminology.

I was looking for a blue light screen protector . This looks like it fits the bill and was fairly easy to install. I hope it offers the blue light protection promised.

Doesn't include anything to line up the screen protector to my iPad. I had to eyeball it and it made lining it up hard. Also, caused me to remove and line it up again. So, now there are 4 huge air bubbles in the center.

Installation was easy as I have done this no less than 50 times on cell phones, iPads tablets for my family and friends. However, it was one of the most difficult screen to get the bubbles out and the bottom two corner edges won’t stick creating its own bubbles. See photo where the arrow points to. Enclosed an applicator in the packet to help guide the scree protector, which is very helpful for people who don’t do this often. I have a cheaper non anti-glare blue light tampered glass on my old iPad Pro and iPhone but Ocushield doesn’t appear to be any different comparing them side by side at various angels and lighting conditions. Anti glare is the other reason I bought it in addition to the medical class 1 blue light protection. So, I will give it a chance and wait a few day to see if the bottom edges not sticking problem correct itself. Otherwise, I will be returning it for the US brand that classified as medical devices class 1 blue light screen. I am definitely willing to pay a good quality genuine medical grade device to protect my eyes as I use my iPad many hours 7 days a week.

There is a blue tint when the iPad is not in use, but you don't notice it when the screen is active. It really seems to have eased the eyestrain I was experiencing, so it is well worth the price.

I’d say it is an okay product. I didn’t have good luck installing the screen without getting a ton of spots. It drove me crazy, so I removed it to clean the screen off. The spots were embedded in the screen Itself.I purchased another screen and had much better results with screen clarity after install.

The plastic applicator was so thin and flimsy it popped off my ipad at the slightest touch, this happened 3 or 4 times, each time I had to painstakingly reclean the screen, finally as I was aligning the screen protector it happened again forcing me to trying relocated the applicator one handed whilst trying to support the partly bonded screen protector with the other hand, this resulted in the screen protector cracking (beware it is extremely fragile!), this protector was not a cheap product, and for the sake of investing a few pence more in materials or a better applicator design, the manufacturer could then have provided an applicator up to the job avoiding this problem completely! As there are no viable alternatives for blocking blue light from another supplier I now in the position of having to spend another £30 on a replacement, believe me I am NOT happy!

I am trusting the science behind this as I am hoping to use this for eBooks as well as general use and note taking - so my review concentrates on other aspects:1) Fairly easy to fit but take great care cleaning the screen first and removing all dust.2) The alignment template is just OK - not the greatest fit on my iPad Mini 6 but does the job.3) Be aware that the screen protector gives a very shiny finish which is not as aesthetically pleasing as the screen would be without the protector on. I have used a lot of protectors over the years and most are quite neutral in their finish. This one is really mirror like though especially when the iPad is powered off. I’m sure I will get used to it.4) Everything looks good in dark mode but not so good when dark mode is not selected. In light mode things look a bit washed out and whites look cream. The protective shield then seems to “float” above the actual screen which personally I do not like.

At first I installed it myself and got lots of bubbles. Was replaced with no argument.I then found a shop which installed for me. Perfect. Blue screen seems to work well. It also diffuses some of the glare in sunlight but not really usable in that situation.Indoors, the pictures and visually generally is surprisingly good.Better than all the many others I’ve tried.

I have been using blue light blocking screen and filters for many months. This one is just rubbish. It does not block any blue light. Nothing at all. I tested with blue light and the card surface sensitive to blue light. It passes all of the blue light. Nothing blocked. I have tested many glasses, lenses and protective screen in this way and the true blocking ones don't pass any light and the sensitive card does not get color. This screen protector is rubbish.

This is definitely a good product. I was experiencing severe headaches when reading on my iPad. I have been using this part for a couple of weeks and the headaches have gone.I combined this product with some other features as well: I lowered the brightness on my computers and iPad; I converted the display into Night Shift mode.Also, because my headaches were so severe previously, I also used yellow clip on glasses on my specs.This product, together with those other changes, has enabled me to read on my computer screen and iPad for hours without getting any headaches or eyestrain.
