Rockport Men's Eureka Plus Walking Boot

I was very pleased to find one of my favorite walking shoes in ankle high boots. When I received them, I was a bit surprised at how light they were for boots, not as substantial as the three pair of the ankle cut versions I have previously worn. After a few days of wear, I threw away the useless insoles and replaced them with a quality pair of sports insoles for better arch support and sole cushioning. Couldn’t beat the sale price (~$35) but would have paid three times that for a casual boot that’s of better quality build.

Like to see you but it fits a little big

I had never seen pricing this good on Rockport shoes! I have had a couple of pairs of Rockports in the past. The quality of the leather seems decent, pretty good but not top of the line.. I usually fit 9.5 and hoped these would fit & they did , fortunately for me. So they are keepers. Is the Rockport brand as good as they used to be? I cannot say with certainty.. Would I refer to this boot as a "winter plus boot?" No, I would not.It is not heavy nor waterproof. That said,, this is a great value! Some other shoes cost more and aren't made of leather, this boot is. I highly recommend it at this great value. I just may purchase another pair, as they are offered in 3 colors. I was expecting a good shoe as Rockport is known for walking shoes and this pair did not change that perception. Probably one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.I've been wearing for a few months now and so far so good as far as holding up to every day wear.Update 7/20: I removed 1 star because the finish on the shoe has started to wear badly. It started happening about 3 months in and they are now regulated to my "work shoe" stash. Cant really use for anything else. Too bad because they are a comfortable shoe.

Hahaha Just kidding... The best ever! Nothing even comes close. Read below!A little about me, I've had 2 knee replacements, broke my femer bone twice, and hip once. I have foot drop arthritis and most recently on my last knee replacement, it really started acting up.I bought 8 different pairs of shoes and nothing even comes close to the comfort and feeling when walking with these shoes. Sketches, New Balance, Doc Scholes, Nike, Rebook, all pile of garbage.These cure my pain and I'm able to stand and walk for hours in comfort.Trust me on this, you want these specially if your a big man like me.I'm 510, 300lbs.

I'd been looking for these shoes for several years, ever since my first pair didn't return w/ me to the States from a trip to Israel. I was thrilled to finally find them. I ordered a pair (@ $100+!) & they arrived as promised & just as I'd ordered them. But they were 1/2 size TOO LARGE. I found them in the proper size (& was TOTALLY JAZZED to discover their price REDUCED by almost $50!!) I submitted the 2nd order. Of course, I had to wait longer this time, owing to the Independence Day holiday. But as soon as the fireworks ceased the 2nd pair arrived & they are a joy for my feet. Perfect. Well done, ROCKPORT. Kudos, Mr. Bezos.

First off the shoe fits great. From the description, it leaves you with the impression that this boot is made for winter. There is no lining, just elevated about 2" from the the standard shoe would fit around the ankle. I like this for added support. I wear these shoes at least 5 days a week and 10 hours a day. So for me they last about 6 months.

Really outstanding value for the money. Fit is good - slightly longer than expected, but fine with heavy boot socks. Also slightly lower than expected, but should have noticed the slight dip for the ankle bones. But they are VERY comfortable, from the moment I put them on. Really very pleased after wearing all day. Might add they are also very light, much lighter than the pair of Rockports they are replacing. Very happy with purchase.

These boots are good. They are not super great. They are average. If you intend to go on a long long walk do not buy these for that purpose. They are great for "doing errands" in. I like them to drive to work with and do a 20-minute walk max.They fit well. I got the 11.5 wide and they are wide enough not to cause any issues. I would buy again.

Rockport is always an excellent shoe. These are very comfortable. These are a lighter boot so is good for dress shoes in the winter,

Not quite a high as a hiking boot but good for light to medium snow
