This bra cover fits very well on my 2022 Ram Pro-master 3500 hood, the fit is like a glove, it looks good, I keep it dry underneath, but as for extra precaution I put a good coat of a paint protection or wax under there when I take it off and make sure before I put it back on that the paint is protected. One should do that even behind your license plate holder? But as for the hood cover/bra this is a very good product. If I ever need another I would buy this one again.

I purchased the Car Hood Bonnet Bra for my 2022 Dodge Ram Promaster on Amazon, the company was Cobra Auto Accessories. I have never purchased or used something like this before. The purpose of the Bonnet, for our van, was to protect the hood from stones and debris chipping the paint during long highway driving. We placed it on and took a long trip. After a few weeks we removed the Bonnet and we were surprised to discover the Bonnet had permanently damaged the finish on the van. The van is stored outdoors and it had rained and then dried in the sun. Apparently that was all it took for the Bonnet to discolor the finish on the van hood, see photographs. If I had known that the Bonnet had to be removed every time it rained I would not have purchased it, that’s just not convenient or practical for us in upstate NY. I did not receive any instructions with the Bonnet, in fact I watched a YouTube video to learn how to install it. I contacted Cobra Auto Accessories and was told they put instructions in each box and there is a tag on the Bonnet instructing you to remove it if it gets wet. It would have been helpful if the details written on Amazon included this critical information, I never would have had made the purchase and I would not have permanent damage to my new van. Cobra Auto Accessories offered no apologies or refund. I don’t recommend the company for anything.

I had a different one before and it didn’t hold up to well. I’ve had this one on for about three weeks and it’s a lot more sturdy.

Easy to install and protects the front of the van well. Oddly, bugs seem to stick less too.

Updated review two years later: I just removed the bra from the front of my promaster for the first time in 2 years since installing. I am replacing because the elastic strings holding the original have given out. I was dismayed to find that there was a large area of discoloration where it appears excess heat has caused the white paint to yellow. There were also many many blisters to the paint in this area too. Vehicle has been kept outdoors but has remained in cooler coastal California and Pacific Northwest areas over 25,000 miles of travel.Original review I just installed mine on a 2017 Ram Promaster It fits snugly. The trick to putting it on, which is not mentioned in the instructions, is that you can't put the two front corners on and expect to be able to get the back ones on, or vice versa. You need to put on the two corners on one of the sides and then you can stretch just sufficiently to get it over the corners on the other side. It looks sharp. I imagine it will protect well from rocks and insects, but what about birds. Ostriches in particular hitting the bra cover I imagine would test its limits.
