Essential reading for therapists.
Insightful, clear and written with humour and vunerability. Great read.Disliking having to write a certain number of words to get this review posted!

Therapy is a Gift as the Author States
Refreshing read for therapists and those interested in the field of counseling. Too few books deal with "helping the helper" and this one does that! The author really demonstrates and explains how therapy brings such quality to the lives of others, as well as his/her own! Counselors and therapists will really come away feeling encouraged and with new insight!

An insight into how therapy should work
A collection of advice to therapists that I have found incredibly useful as someone receiving therapy, it's given me a great insight into how therapy should work and what I should expect from my therapist. I feel that information will help me get the most out of the time I pay $140 an hour for. Each piece of advice is only one or two pages long so it's easy to digest.

The best book of advices ever
I love the openess of the author and the practical advices he gives. These are really reflecting my personal gut feeling about how therapy should be conducted and how the therapist-patient relationship works at best. I love the concrete examples and the humility of the writer.
