Very happy, great temporary fix
I accidentally broke my top front tooth. I needed something temporary until I can get this fixed. The tooth isn't gone completely. Its mostly gone, but the root is still there essentially. It's like a small stump. So I need to have that pulled and an implant put in. In the meantime, I was scrolling on Amazon for a quick temporary fix. I bought a pair of the fake dentures and then the imako tooth tinted plastic. The dentures did not work out. Too thick for my upper lip. And I followed all the instructions from people in the reviews for the imako plastic but i could not get a good tooth made. It took me a few days to get the hang of it. So if you're also trying this.. do not give up after a few tries. You will get it. Here's my advice.. The reviews say to heat your water for 30 seconds. Thats not enough to soften the plastic completely. I had to get it to a boil. Once it started to boil, I took my bowl of hot water and went to my mirror and dropped the plastic into the water. It turns completely clear when its at its softest. Once its clear, you only need a very small piece of that moldable plastic. So rip off a piece while its soft, and play around with molding a tooth in your mouth to make sure its the right size first. So if you have too big of a piece, you can rip more off. If its too small, you can put it back into the hot water and add more back. Its so easy to work with when its hot and clear. But it also cools and hardens quickly as well. So you have to be fast in molding your tooth. If you mess up and it hardens.. pop it back into the water. I did this so many times my water cooled down and id have to heat it back up. I did this trial and error for days. I was starting to get it , but even when I got a tooth that looked okay, it wasn't comfortable in the back and for my bite. So I put it back into the hot water until it was moldable again and ripped more off. The piece i had was essentially too big , so it was creating a bulky piece in the back. So i made it a tad bit smaller. & I realized I had to work on the back first. Make it flat/the same as your other teeth. Then bite down to make sure you're other teeth won't hit it and give you a lisp when you talk. Biting down while its soft will make sure your bite hits exactly where it needs to. Then, I made sure it was the same width and length in the front as my other front tooth. I then used a tooth pick to make the "crack" or "line" between the teeth look more natural. That also kinda pushes it in tight for a nice tight fit so that it won't fall out. Once i got a perfect tooth, I let it harden in my mouth, in place, and then popped it out. It was such a tight fit that it took me wiggling it out for a few seconds to get it out. Thats a good thing. That means I can take it out when I need to and put it back in when I need to. and not have to worry about it falling out when its in. Everyone I showed it to was amazed how good it looked. The color isn't an exact match, but thats okay. It's better than looking like im missing a tooth. Now that I've figured it out.. im so pleased with this purchase. For the first few days I thought it was a waste of money. Now im happy because I can literally make multiple teeth out of just one of the hunks of plastic. And it comes with two. So I can essentially make approximately 8 replacements with having only spent $10.

Very easy to use, no stress, great results -- but be warned
This stuff is super easy to use, and worked perfectly for me. As has already been said, one piece is much larger than you need. I just put it in a cup of boiled water, waited a minute, fished it out with a spoon and pulled off what I thought I needed. I fit it into the gap between my teeth, and it easily molded with my fingers. It was a bit small so i removed it, and It's easy to add a little back to the ball you're using, using the hot water to soften the pieces first. The material becomes clear and very soft, and super moldable. I tried a couple of times to get what I wanted, but it was so stress free that I never once felt like I was doing something wrong. Once I had a look I liked, I left it in and it cooled and hardened to the whiter color. If feels secure and looks good. I'm super happy. Amending this, and puttng a warning in the title. I'm not changing the stars -- it IS easy to use, and it's very effective, in my particular case. I have a missing tooth in the back of my mouth, one of my forward molars, and it's visible when I talk or smile. So, to have that filled in has been a complete game changer. Remarkably, it stayed in place for a couple of weeks, with no shifting at all. BUT -- it did become very yellow over time, only a few shades lighter than the stars on this review. For me, it was still a help, because it filled a gap that, once filled, made things look normal. But if this had been in the front, it would have needed to be changed far sooner than it was. And that's the warning part -- when I wanted to change it, I couldn't get it out. When I put it in, it was malleable and I molded it to a good shape, not realizing that the shape created absolutely trapped it in place. It had served without budging for a couple of weeks -- but once I wanted it out, it's been a 3 day effort to get this thing out. Wiggle, wiggle, shift, pry, pull -- being supremely careful to not damage the bordering natural teeth. It was STUCK, which was why it never seemed unstable (which I liked, and still do appreciate). Finally today, it had gotten somewhat shifty, but simply would not come out, so I started syringing very hot water on it, ( a bit of an ordeal and left my mouth a little burned, like hot tea would), and finally pried it loose. No damage done -- but I'll be a lot more careful with the replacement, to make sure I'm not creating a shape that would be impossible to remove. Hope that makes sense. End of story -- I'm still planning to replace it with a new piece that is not discolored, and I'm still happy with it -- but for some, the yellowing (more noticeable after about a week) and possibility that it might not easily remove would be a fair deal breaker.

Easy to shape, natural colour. Fast to soften in hot water and harden just as fast in cold water or just room in temperature when left alone. Good product. Last time it was a little more tinted, now its just too light. I preferred the natural version.

Brilliant for a temporary emergency . Stain easily and can't clean

A very simple procedure to alleviate the issues with a missing tooth. Besides cosmetic issues, the tongue gets very abraded by playing with the gap. It is very useful that it comes with two pellets. That way you can keep a good one and try to improve with the other one. Once it is warmed up in the hot water, as the video shows you can remove some material with a spoon edge. I can easily chew soft foods and carefully chew harder foods like meat. It is very easy to install and remove as you wish. For a front tooth I was able to lineup the front of the tooth to look somewhat natural. Behind the tooth I spread it out a bit on the adjoining teeth and the roof of my mouth - see photo. This prevented wiggling and allowed to put more pressure on it for chewing. Good for front teeth, but I’m not sure how it would work for other teeth. The crown fell off this tooth and it will be several weeks before I can get an implant so this was the perfect cheap fix.

Soak in boiled water, worked perfect and held all night. Pretty awesome since I needed it for an event while I’m waiting for my booked trip to turkey coming up to fix my tooth
