Cold SteelBrooklyn Bats

I had a decent sized stick/club that I have used for years to take care of things in the yard. Always handy, kept it right outside. No need to run inside to get something else. It broke recently and at a very bad time! I have several Cold Steel products and have always been impressed with the quality and design. The Slammer is awesome. Perfect size, length and weight to get things accomplished. My wife has used it a few times. Now she wants one for her car.

Quality product that I have gifted to many a friend. Bat is super dense and hard. Short length makes it easy to use with one hand. Weight gives it energy when you swing it. Whacks baseballs and other objects with power. Keep one under the front seat of each car as a defensive tool.

Small, but hefty. Need some strength to whip it around.

Fits perfectly in the umbrella holder of a Chrysler Pacifica! It's solid but doesn't move as fluidly as I'd like. Still a handy tool to have in an emergency.

It comes standard with a rubberized grip, unlike the multitude of other bats offered by Cold Steel. Overall length is 32 inches and in my opinion, it’s the best one to use and you get the most out of your purchase. I know I’m 100% satisfied with mine.

You can't beat a gun or rifle, but this is my favorite non-firearm tool I have for self defense. It just feels "right" in my hand. It's heavy enough that whatever you swing at will be obliterated. It's definitely fun just to hold, swing at the air with, destroy water melons and a fun talking piece to discuss with your friends that may share your enthusiasm for such things.But that is where it ends because Its heaviness is also con. Cold Steal also makes a slimmer, lighter version of this bat called the Brooklyn Shorty and though not as "fun," or impressive to look at, is much better for actual self defense needs. I'm a relatively strong man, but I still feel the need to choke up just a tad on the grip for both the Brooklyn Slammer and Brooklyn Shorty (they both are one-handed bats), so the added weight of the Brooklyn Slammer adds extra response time, slows down the time it takes to actually swing and truthfully, any semi-athletic assailant would probably see your swing coming before you could actual execute the swing with the Slammer.In conclusion, The slower Brooklyn Slammer is my favorite because of the fun factor, but the Brooklyn Shorty is actually better for practical self defense uses because its quicker in the air and still will break bones.

I’ve bought several of these bats both as gifts and for myself. They’re very well made and surprisingly hefty. I have some friends that live in Southern California and I bought them a couple of these to keep around the house for simple, easy, California legal home defense! Being from a very pro 2A state myself I have hassle-less access to other means of home defense (the way it should be!) but for those that don’t or would prefer something like this, you can’t go wrong with this product!

This thing will deal some heavy damage to both melons and assailants! This is more of a club than a mini bat definitely recommend putting grip tape or bat tape to help with vibration recoil and to have a better grip due to the smooth poly material Ive chosen this as my truck club for quick defense situations the weight and compactness work well with this model such as the shorty which is another great option if you prefer something lighter and faster but I like the heftiness of this because if this makes an impact on an attacker you'll have a one hitter quitter any defense tool or weapon can be proficient with practice.
