This unit is easy to set up with iOS devices. Zello works quickly and flawlessly. I can also confirm that this unit does not work with EchoLink on iOS. RX audio goes through, but the PTT button does not engage EchoLink’s TX function This is not a problem with the mic, because I have zero issues with Zello. This unit is really well built. It’s weighty in the hands, a good size, nice and loud, and the clip is good and stiff. I love using it. I definitely recommend this unit for iOS users, but be warned that it may not work well on an be app-to-app basis.

I’m near 2 weeks in and it was Worth every penny. I work with loud conveyors and this thing is LOUD even at the big shop too. Puts some dewalt speaker to shame and PTT functions very well

Use it for coms on the tractor when working. Range isn't great but dont know of too many BT products that have a long range. Sound is decent. Seems to stay connected decently. Durability and longevity remain to be seen. So far so good. Belt clip is crap. Broke immediately as I was putting it on. If you don't need a belt clip it may turn out to be pretty decent.

Pros: 1. Has a "solid" feel in your hand, similar to a Motorola WM500. 2. Esthetically pleasing design and well thought out control layout. Cons: 1. Device has no rubber grip on it, making it EXTREMELY hard to hold securely and prone to slipping out of your hand, especially when trying to operate the volume up and down buttons one handed. 2. USB port cover is not very flexible, making it a complete PITA to connect a USB-C charge cable. 3. The PTT button is far too easy to activate. I find myself accidentally keying up while simply just trying to keep the mic from slipping out of my hand. This button should be recessed more, have a larger "guard" around it, and/or require more force to activate. 4. BT connectivity is very bizarre. Zello will identify the device (within the Zello application itself) as a PTT button. However, to get audio working (speaker and mic) through the device, you also have to pair it to your iPhone through the BT settings in the iPhones settings. After doing this, you will see two instances of the same device in your phones BT pairing list. After pairing (both in the app and on my iPhone), I have found that the device is CONSTANTLY connecting and disconnecting based on the non stop pop up messages I see inside the Zello application. After checking my BT settings, I discovered that it is the PTT BT pairing (via the app) that is connecting and disconnecting and not the audio paring. This issue makes the device have a delayed "key up" or fail to "key up" altogether. 5. BT audio tones played through the device (TX, end of TX/Roger beep, etc.) don't quite sound the same when the device is paired with my iPhone vs when it isn't. I can tell that part of the tones are getting cut off due to BT delay, but I have also found that it will make other sounds that my phone normally does not, especially when keying up with teh Zello application running in the background. Have yet to figure out the exact tone it's making as it is not something I have heard within the tones section of the Zello app. 6. Button mappings don't seem to work within the Zello application either (even though I have configured them, they do nothing). Could be operator error, so I can't say definitively it's an actual issue or not. 7. Last but not least, the audio quality is G-A-R-B-A-G-E. I have heard better sound quality using two cans and a string. All in all, I think this thing has potential to be a great little BT mic for use with Zello. That said, mine is going back and I wont be repurchasing until the manufacture addresses these issues.

Im an EMT and I bought this to pair w the companys Iphone and the Zello app we use for dispatching so I wouldnt have to pull the phone out of my pocket everytime I needed to communicate w my dispatcher , plus tbh I absolutely HATE anything iphone related since its not very user friendly and half the time Im just mashing on the screen or button until it goes to a screen where I can see the zello app symbol , so the less I have to do anything w that POS phone the better . As far as this product itself , its the 1st day using it ... but so far it seems well made and sturdy enuf ... had ZERO issues w the belt clip as some ppl have claimed so im gonna chalk that up to ppl are absolute morons and broke their mic clip due to a lack of common sense because it literally just slides into a groove on the back . It was easy to charge it up , and then pair it to Zello app . And Ive had no issues w audio quality on my end or my dispatchers end . The real test is going to be battery life I think cuz I work 10h days and need to have it on and paired for the whole shift ... so we'll see on that ... but even then its easy enuf to plug it in now n then between calls when im in the truck so dont foresee it being an issue either way . Hope this helps someone because I almost avoided buying it due to ppls reviews about not being able to connect it to zello and the clip breaking ... glad I changed my mind and got it and was able to form my own opinion .

Item turns itself off after 5 minutes of no use. Frustrating to use when your security company only chats about 4-6 times on Zello every hour. Mic also requires you to connect to bluetooth twice which is extremely annoying. The speaker is awful and I am unable to hear what someone is saying to me. The design itself is really good I will admit. Good weight, has a rubber grip for the PTT, and in general good mic clip. Does not fly out of my mic lapel on my vest and polo easily. If the option to keep the radio on longer existed, not using it as the main bluetooth speaker, and speaker quality was better, I would keep it. However, it does not meet my standards. Item was connected to an iPhone on IOS 26.3

Sounds terrible, audio crackles terribly and bluetooth connection is unstable. im on android and all my other bluetooth devices work fine, this one gets garbled and crackles like connection is bad and speaker is low quality. its also a b02 not the b01 as advertised

Build quality is great in my opinion and it looks/feels like ones with batwings. I use mine primarily with DVSwitch for Amateur Radio. I did have some issues with the way the PTT button is implemented to start. The BT002 (Android/iOS version) seems to have replaced the PTT as a keycode/kepress with a hardware PTT that the application has to be aware of for it to work. Zello worked fine out of the box, DVSwitch I am using Version 2.0.3 (188) and it works well with the PTT. Since the BT button does not emulate a keypress the keycode in the DVSwitch config is irrelevant. You must see the BT Connection message when you start DVSwitch at the bottom of the screen indicating that the PTT has been recognized.
