A good Value
Pricey, but very flavorful and not to thick cut. Just the right dryness and good and lean. I have been looking for a quality jerky and I think I have found it.

Seriously GREAT!
Best tasting, texture, and overall jerky I’ve ever bought. Salty yes, hickory smoked yes and everything else authentic beef jerky should be to be great. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this, but not 100% what I was looking for
So I'll preface my review by stating that my ideal beef jerky is very dry and chewy. That's they way I like it and my preferred treat is something along the lines of Love's truck stop beef jerky. So that's the frame of mind I come from. This jerky is moist and chewy, very salty and has a heavy soy sauce taste to it. I enjoyed it, it's good to chew up and suck on for a bit because of how salty it is, but the soy sauce taste is pretty strong throughout so that's something to keep in mind. All the complaints about "fatty" chunks baffle me. I just finished a full pound of it and never came across any fatty pieces, maybe a small piece here or there but nothing significant and it wasn't unpleasant. The moisture level to me is too much. It's moister than Jack Links (which I think is crap beef jerky for what it's worth) but the flavor is at least a lot better than Jack Links. It better be for double the cost. I enjoyed it but for the cost I don't think I'd buy it again.

Something has changed. Not good anymore.
This product used to be my go to jerky. It was tough and dry and had great flavor. Something has changed over the past year. I continue yes to order thinking I got a bad batch or two, but it has continued to fall. The batch I got today has a bad taste and is soft and chewy. It’s gross.

Yeah, this is deff good jerky!
Ohhh heck yeah, this is some damn good Jerky!!! I usually buy the wild bills hickory smoked because I just love the old fashioned jerky flavor that is extra salty and with lots of soy sauce like a real jerky should be and not that cheap processed stuff loaded with sugar... On occasion I like to try something new to see if i find any new kinds that I will like and trust me I eat a lot of jerky and im a chef so I know meat and flavors lol well I can whole heartedly say that if wild bills was a 10 out of 10 this stuff would easily be a 9.5 and it is less expensive so is it worth it you ask? Well heck yeah it isss!!! This stuff is good, I mean good almost tastes like my homemade venison jerky and while it is not quite as dry as wild bills it seems slightly more tender and it comes in a resealable pkg! I AM RUINED, HAHAHA I may be buying this stuff from now on but I love me some wild bills AHHH... If you're on a budget and just want a decent jerky or a quick snack try the Tillamook certainly not bad for the price but it is nowhere near as delicious as this stuff is... Please do not buy this jerky lol so that it is always in stock when I go to order it which I forsee being frequently 😝 it doesn't seem to get caught and leave as many little bits and pieces in my teeth that take forever to try and dislodge as other jerky's do also, all around a solid purchase with robust smokiness and delicious salty soy flavors i want more already!

Normally it is very good. Maybe just a bad batch.
I have purchased several bags of this jerky and share it with a couple of co-workers. All bags have been very good. Good flavor, tough, dry, that you have to gnaw on for awhile. Love this kind of jerky. This batch had tons of fat and was very chewy. I threw a couple of handfuls away it was so bad. I hope this is just a one-off.

My Favorite Jerky!
I’ve tried most of the premium beef jerky, however I keep coming back to Bronco Billy’s. It’s got the consistency and taste I prefer. General e store provides fast delivery.

Old School, Delicious
Jerkies prepared like this is a pretty rare find in a grocery store, unless you start to go out into the country. Dry and salty, these make excellent treats, but I recommend you eat them a few pieces at a time. I wasn't crazy about the flavor - it's very salty, like the old world would have prepared perishables for long storage with salt - kind of salty. It's also drier - yet tender - so if you're in for a specific mouthfeel from beef jerkies, this might not be an ideal choice. I did like it though, because it was both nostalgic, and gave me a chance to appreciate a sense of a long-standing tradition/practice. I perceived this as good value when compared with other beef jerkies, which to me seemed to have far too much waterweight to the price per ounce I was paying. This is a full bag of very dry jerky. It reconstituted to much more in my stomach :)
