true SAGE, but not great quality, must spend time fixing it to make it look nice
The GOOD- I needed something that perfectly matched with the sage green colors in my decor, I was a little nervous as some had described it as more of a grass green but I disagree . This perfectly matched with all the other sage green items I purchased on Amazon . I took a lot of photos trying to show the true color but it’s a bit hard to capture. In a couple photos it looked much darker blue green color and that wasn’t accurate , it’s a nice medium sage not too light not too dark. I followed directions and vacuumed it real well to fluff up the fibers and i don’t see any issues with bare spots as other posters noted. It is nice & fluffy. Definitely needs a gripper pad or tape underneath. I got the 8x10 for $140 & though I’m generally fairly overall satisfied I took away some stars for a few reasons. The BAD- quality issues : #1 there are TONS of extra long fibers I had to go around and trim down. Ranging from a half inch to an inch & a half longer than the rest. it was clearly not supposed to be that way & made it look really crappy. This is really irritating to me. Even with cheap rugs I’ve purchased I’ve never had to put so much work into making a brand new rug look decent. Wish I had taken a photo before I started trimming…I’ve spent about 30 minutes ish going around trimming the longest most obvious strands down & likely will need to spend another 20-30 minutes to just get most of them. There are a couple photos where I tried to capture this as an example. They are not loose which was my first thought, if I pull on them they are well secured. I contemplated sending it back because of this BUT the packing was so tight it had to be completely ripped long ways to get the rug out so there was no way to package it back up to send back.Second the fibers themselves just don’t seem of very good quality so idk how long this will hold up with regular vacuuming since shag rugs take a bit more effort to really get the dirt up and out of. Dirt tends to fall down deep in the rug or get wrapped up in the fibers so I am often pulling stuff out with my hands that the vacuum doesn’t get even though I don’t allow shoes in the house and vacuum regularly. It’s just me & my son I don’t have company & I’m very particular about keeping things extra clean because of the rug. So if u have pets or kids or dirt & debris that get tracked in I’d advise not getting shag. I feel like after a year or so this rug will likely be worn down enough to need to be replaced even with all the precautions I take just because of the quality of the fibers but 🤞All that being said I’m still just happy that the color perfectly matched which was quite the challenge when shopping online & that I haven’t noticed bare spots some other buyers had. I would recommend IF you’re on a budget & can’t afford a higher quality rug & you have time & patients to trim the fibers.

Nice rug
Nice rug, especially for the price. Seems well made, no weird smells, soft.Delivery was a total nightmare—but that’s Amazon’s fault.

Horrible rug
Got the carpet rolled it out. it bald spots everywhere carpet fibers falling out of the rug. A needle from when they made the rug broke off in the rug and I flipping stepped on it.. now to get a refund they want me drag a 9ft x12 ft rug to ups.. that is not going to fit in my car!

Loved this rug
For the money this is a great deal. It’s exactly what we needed for a dorm room. The texture is a little more coarse than expected but it’s totally fine. Recommend

Pretty decent rug!
I’ve only had it for a couple days so I can’t speak on stain resistance or anything, but I’d say it’s a pretty good rug! I got the 3x3ft circle rug in the dusty rose. It’s a bit darker in color than the product picture, but still cute I think! It’s super soft, but not very thick and has no slip pad. I put mine on top of my bedroom floor which is carpet, but if you put it on hardwood you would definitely need to also purchase something to go under it like a no slip pad or something. Overall pretty decent for the price!

Not Davos Collection
Update: I was disappointed with the rugs when I first got them. Definitely looked cheap. I was used to the other ones with a longer thicker shag. But, since I’ve had these down about 2 weeks now they seem to be holding up. They’ve fluffed out.I thought the larger one had a different fiber like a cheap chenille woven in, but, now it’s all good. There isn’t anything coming out and very minimal shedding. I have run the vacuum with a high beater, too. All in all, yes, they are on the cheap side, yet, for an active family they’re ok and not falling apart. I think pads might make a huge difference. But, the biggest selling point is the color. The Marine Blue is a real pop of color. If I could bold print that I would. Now I’m planning on buying a couple of more runners. And, if I’m using them for runners then you’d have to guess they are working out. Just they have zero padding.Original review:I have bought several of the Unique Loom rugs, mostly runners, in the past several years. I have been impressed with the beating they can take. I only replaced them because my dog that is now deceased had soiled them and instead of washing them I threw them out thinking I never want to see them again. But, some time has passed and I missed these rugs. So, I decided to try another color in Marine Blue. First, the 4x6 is not the same texture and weave as the runner. The runner looks like it will hold up, but, it’s a 1” shag, not 2”. And, they are not the same as the Graphite Grey in the Davos Collection. These are another collection, but, it doesn’t say that. I will update this review as I see how it wears, but, the only thing I can say I like about it right now is the color. However, even that doesn’t look like the picture, which has a bit of a grey tint.

Shag on a budget
I just received this rug. The shagginess needed some help because it’s flat from being rolled up in shipping. I swept it with a hand broom to fluff up the fibers a bit. The color is true to the pic, a great silver-gray color. It is thin. The fibers are soft but it isn’t as full as the product pics make it look. Def get a pad. I didn’t and I will be ordering one asap. The other thing of note is the smell. New rugs (esp cheap ones like this) have a chemical smell usually and this is no exception. I’ve had it rolled out for a few hours and it has dissipated some so I’m sure with time it’ll be fine. It seems to be laying down ok but I have furniture on it helping the process along a bit. Over all it isn’t bad, just don’t expect the quality you’d get from an $800 Mohawk rug. This is an area rug for people who are on a budget or don’t want to spend a lot. If the fibers start falling out I will update my review.

Pretty but a headache
Not stain resistant I even had it professionally cleaned. No help with keeping it white

Ok For Price...Thin and Cheaply Made
Items late. Bought 3 took too long to get here. Almost a month. Rugs were rolled up for a long time because the bumps are taking long time to flatten. They are 1” thick. The quality of the fibre is not great and they are too thin. You need underlay because they are thin and they will slide like crazy over a wood floor and you will wipe out big time. I got 7/16” underlay and they look and feel much better. Color is ok. So for the price they are just ok.

Not made the same as shown in the picture.
It is a very pretty rose colour same as the picture but I was very sad to find out it is not made the same as the picture shows. It shows a nice fluffy carpet but what I got was flat and the loops of carpet are bigger then the picture so they look odd. Very angrey it is not the same as the picture. Not very comfortable under the feet so it was good I got underpadding as extra protection for the floor.

Worth every penny and more. Beautiful aqua colour. Excellent purchase.
The aqua 8x11 is beautiful. It is better than I expected. It is thick enough not to need an under pad. It arrived on time wrapped well and easy enough to carry up 2 flights of stairs. Excellent purchase.

Very very thin
This colour of the rug is very nice, but the rug is very very thin. Thankfully I’m just using this for under my bed, but if I was using this in my living room it would need an underpaid for sure. Even the edges are hard if you step on them.

15/10 according to my dog
Well, I bought this cute rug to help make my room look pretty and cover the sh*tty carpet. Works great and my dog loves it. he sleeps every single night on my rug. So I'm going to say it's definitely approved!
