I wanted my elderly mother to have something special and recognizable on her door in assisted living. This does the trick! No instructions were included, so I first wiped that area of the door with some rubbing alcohol to clean off any residue. Then I thoroughly wet the area with water, putting a spare towel on the floor below to catch the runoff. I carefully peeled the picture from the backing and centered the picture on the door at what is eye-level for my Mom, who's in a wheelchair. Then I wet the surface of the picture itself and used a credit card to drag the surface, from the center to the outer edges, to get any air bubbles out. (Don't do it TOO hard or too much or you will scrape off the printed picture!)She has gotten SO many compliments on the picture, from residents, workers, and visitors! It's been one month, and the picture is still holding firm. It hasn't curled at the edges or anything like that. My Mom can instantly recognize her own door amongst the many that are on her hall, so it helps with that, too!

This looks like it was printed on an old home printer. It's matte - not glossy and impossible to flatten enough to stick it to a wall.

highly recommend. print is very good quality & does not look cheap looking. I put it above my bed in place of headboard. Looks great. Love to gaze at it and it really make it feel like I'm looking out the window. I like to pretend I'm at tuscan villa & I just opened my window to look out at the rolling hills LOL

This faux window is smaller (measurement was true though) than I anticipated and the colors are very subdued and not as brilliant as I wanted.

I got the 12x9 for a blank space on my wall. I sit in the corner with no window so this gave me my window view. Very easy to apply with no air bubble. I only wish the picture was more vibrant. I might get the larger size down the road, but this is good for the time being. My coworker liked my window view too.

Somehow I didn’t realize I didn’t select the larger size so I was disappointed in myself for not ordering the correct size.

Super pleased with the product, can’t think of a better view to look at. Was glad it was so easy to move and remove until I got it just so without if bunching up or crinkling
