Definitely worth your time and money!
I bought this so I could have something to do on weekends... and now I'm playing every weekend since the past 3 months. The game is so addictive with songs that everyone knows! I would not hesitate to buy this game.

I mean really....
Where else can you jam to eye of the tiger, and battle ted nugent? No place else, but Guitar Hero World Tour. I'm really not into having a 'Career' in the game or playing 'gigs' of songs i've never heard so there are a lot of features that don't interest me... but this game is fun for all levels and types of people. It seemed like i had to play a few gigs to unlock the beauty that is 'La Bamba' so that was a pain, but i'm now fluent in latin-rock so not entirely bad. The only downside is the incompatibility between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but that is an overall franchise issue for the Wii, and not a knock on this game. Slam some beers, rock out... it's that easy.

Worked fine
Daughter had it before on Playstation II, but now has Wii, and wanted it for that , so didn't want to spend a lot so went for used. Works fine and she is happy as she missed this a lot from her older system.

Unsatisfied
Considering we purchased a more expensive version, I was hoping it would actually work. Extremely frustrated that when my son opened it minutes aho, he couldn't get it to work. I liked at it and it is full of scratches. Extremely disappointing when your disabled son looks forward to something only to have his heart broken.

RECENTLY MOVED ME & MY SN FROM CALI TO NC.... HE WAS REALLY MISSING HIS BEST FRIEND WHOM IS JUST 2 WKS YOUNGER THAN HIM & THEY HAVE GROWN UP TOGETHER.. HE WAS MISSING HIS FRIEND A LOT S WE DECIDED TO START HAVING THEM PLAY GAMES ONLINE TOGETHER.. & THEY HAVE SO MUCH FUN DOING SO.. .. SOMETIMES WE EVEN HOOK EM UP ON THE OOVOO SO THEY CAN TALK TO EACH OTHER TOO!

JMD's World Tour
The music in this game is the best. I have Guitar Hero 5 and that music is okay if you like a lot of rock. But World Tour has a better variety of music and more of what I like to hear and play. At least I know most of the songs on this game.

Great game.
This is a great game. It was a little rough around the edges, which is not surprising given when it came out. The colors and graphics are distracting, but the music is great and the gameplay is solid. My biggest complaint is about the available DLC. There are comparatively few songs that are downloadable, which sucks given that there are a lot of great songs on here. The price for the download is low, but I wish the songs were available for use with my other games. If more DLC was available my rating would instantly move from 3 to 5 stars. Yes, I know that there are politics and money involved here, but I just want to play.

good guitar hero game has good songs, i remember playing world tour in 2009 on my old wii, it good to have it again
