All of our products have been tested to have at least a 3-year shelf life if unopened and stored at normal room temperature, during which they will retain their integrity and perform as expected. If your product looks and smells the way it normally does, it is good to use.

I wish they did have an expiration date because I used a couple the other day (not this product) and one of them, the plastic bottle cracked and the hair dye was coming out. The 2nd one, the tube that you squeeze into the bottle, cracked & I had a real hard time trying to get it all into the bottle. I have to use 2 boxes at a time so I like to buy it and have on hand when I do my hair. It shouldn't have done this though.
