Cheiro's Book of Numbers Hardcover – February 2, 2015

I'm so much enjoying having this book again, and it arrived promptly and was just as described. As my title above states it is the best Numerology book I've ever found. Cheiro is deep, he learned the Chaldean language and then went to where the original books were still kept. Once there he gained the confidence of those who kept and protected the ancient texts, they then allowed him to view the books and make his own interpretation. So, we have a system of marked significance (much more so than the Greek derived systems IMO)drawn from the original source; the compound number explanations are especially valuable. And I like that there is no letter that has a value of 9 assigned to it, as that was considered the number of God by the Chaldeans. This book is well worth devouring for those interested in classic Numerology - you will be rewarded.

The book itself is great however whoever put this together must’ve been drunk. There are a lot of misspellings and duplicate pages.

Very interesting look into Chaldean numerology. Every numerologist should at least be open to explore this ancient method. The context is derived from a period where omens and fatalistic events were the cornerstone but the information needs to be taken in modern context. Modern times allow for "accidents" and difficult situations and Cheiro does a good job giving the good and the bad which is necessary to understand the duality of numbers. I also find the interpretations and techniques centered more around one's karmic destiny than one's psychological breakdown and because of it I use it in conjunction with the Pythagorean techniques.

I have studied Numerology for over 40 years and his calculations of your soul urge and destiny number areall wrong. I did mine numbers according to his formula , and they were off ! I am deciding whether to returnit. I was hoping I could learn something useful but am disappointed. Elvis got this one wrong !

This is THE numerology book by which others are judged. I am one of the people who have an extremely strong connection with numbers 4 and 8, and everything that he says in the book is so very true. If you are going to purchase a numerology book, this should be your first choice.

Do not buy. Misprints and duplicate pages, improper grammar, just an absolute knock off version. I hadn’t looked at the reviews before my purchase, my fault.

Just replacing my old book that I misplaced. Anyone who is an "eight person" being born on the 8th, 17th or 26th of any month would find it helpful in understanding why things happen to them and how to diminish the effects of this fadic number. Cheiro was one of the great seers of all time, in my opinion. Anyone interested in the physic sciences will enjoy this book.
