this has a nice width. but is a bit shorter which is good. it causes less drag in the water, but remains firm when picking things up. good choice. seems durable.

Best net yet, still intact and no repairs needed after 2+ years of heavy use in the salt water pool. Have purchased many nets over the years, all have broken down in a year or less from the salt or craftsmanship, but not this one!

It works pretty well from what we can tell. We’ve used it a few times, & my husband really likes it. I think his favorite part was the pole I bought to go with it.

Hi,I really like this net. Much sturdier than the last 2 I've purchased. Would give it a 5, but haven't had it long enough to check the durability.

Prefer metal rather than all plastic. This fit the bill!

Much more heavy duty than most all blue plastic types > especially important when needing to tap out debris

The skimmer's rim/frame is quite substantial and looks like it would last a ling time.However, the part that inserts into the skimmer pole is poorly engineered. It attaches to the rim/frame with a single small rivet. And the skimmer 'neck' only partially inserts into the end of the pole. It bends while skimming thru the water, and when it's lifted up out of the water. If a 2nd rivet was added to reduce rotation and it the skimmer 'neck' could be inserted another 1.5 inches, this might last a lifetime. As is, I'd be lucky to get through this summer pool season.

With dozens of Pine trees dropping straw this net makes quick work of skimming a bushel off the water. It is big pool size and not for spa pools.
