Useful pipettes- product is exactly as listed
This review is for the "StonyLab Capillary Tubes, 100mm Micro Glass Transfer Pipettes, 0.3mm ID x 0.5mm OD, Pack of 1000." Sure, these pipettes are easy to break. That's what I get for a number of them at thirty bucks. However, the ones I received were slightly bendable, PRECISELY like the listing showed. I had no issues using them in my lab to transfer minute amounts of liquids. No issues at all. The listing specifically states, "Capillary tubes are fragile due to their glass composition and small diameter; handle with care." No surprises there, so no stars removed for them if I break one bending it. There's even a video showing how much stress these can take before breaking. So, read the listing and watch the video before purchasing so you know what you get. Giving a terrible review for breaking these after the fact seems unfair to me. These capillary tubes are actually nice for the price and you get quite a few. I can't see any real caveats. Worthy of recommendation. Just read through the entire listing and view their video so you know what you are getting.

Glass capillary tubes
These are very fine glass tubes that rely mainly on capillary action to draw tiny amounts of liquid for transfer to another surface, for example, transferring a tiny amount of blood to a microscope slide. I mainly use them in model and prop building to transfer a tiny amount of solvent to attach small parts in hard to reach places. I last purchased a box of 1000 about 15 years ago and recently ran out, so these should last for quite a while. They are made of glass, so they are a little fragile, but in most laboratory situations, they're considered disposable. Overall excellent quality!

Work As Expected, But A Bit Pricey
The capillary tubes I received are what I expected. They function like any standard capillary tubes and are of average quality. However, they are priced a bit higher than similar quality options. Capillary tubes can be even cheaper for those buying in bulk, but for someone with a home laboratory like mine or a homeschooling family, these would be perfectly adequate. They would also be suitable for a small doctor's office. The product description and photos accurately represent the items. They arrived in two days without any issues. I would get these again.

Great for glue!
I don't have a lab...but I do have an art studio and I make miniature things. You know, like 1/2" sofas and things like that. These work as great pipettes for tiny bits of glue. Yes, they break, and the listing SAYS that they do, so please don't knock the manufacturer for that. Treat them with care and respect, take your time, and they will do exactly what they were created to do. I recommend this item.

Too fragile !
These break very easily and almost unusable.

Super thin and delicate, break easy but pull and release liquid nicely
I was surprised by how thin these were. For reference in thickness I share the typical capillary tubes we use in our chemistry class so I do not feel I will be able to use these with my students who would likely break them each time they used them. I however may be able to get some nice use out of them for smaller chromatography set ups and demonstrations. Each one is super thin and I believe each one I tested with I broke in multiple places by applying a little pressure onto them so you must be extremely delicate with these should you order this size.

Low quality, item doesn’t match its description on Amazon

I bought these to use in an art project but they are far too delicate. They literally snap apart more easily than dried spaghetti. They were packaged well though and arrived promptly.

Not worth money. Tubes break as soon as yoh try to collect blood
