Rain-X 805528 Beige X-Large Luxury Car Cover

This one is my 2nd one of this specific type I've owned. I bought it again, because the first one lasted 3 years before slightly tearing 6 inches when I pulled it off the car one day. Would have stayed together if it was wet when pulled off, but it got very brittle after 3 years of Texas heat. Dallas, Tx heat at that. I've seen all of my neighbors covers go literal trash within a year. Therefore I give it 4 stars hardcore. The reason it loses 1 star only IMO, is the fact that the Velcro straps on it tear away easy from the cover itself. So they aren't dependable and won't be apart of the cover for long. Other than that, be very mindful of putting the cover on and the whereabouts of the straps as they can damage your paint very easily. It does have a 10yr limited warranty, but I've never kicked one out towards Rain-X as I feel I got my monies worth honestly and therefore invest in them again in return. This is my 3rd Rain-X car cover totaling over 3 vehicles. This one is very nice and has not scratched my electric blue paint which is easy to see if it is scratched. As mentioned, highly recommended for nice cars!

This is the second one I have owned. Took about 10 years for the first one to wear out. Just roll it down the length of the vehicle ... put the ends under the wheel-wells and its done! It protects your car/truck from getting wet.. out of the hot sun ... doesn't scratch the finish and stays on. Getting it off is just as easy. Fold the sides up... roll it down into a neat ball and it will be ready to roll on the next time. Highly recommend this product.

I had to return and reorder the correct size. I blame this on both myself and but more on the web site. I failed to notice a section called application guide. That should be a link in the main sizing area of the description. If this fits well enough and lasts a year, I could buy 10 of these for less than the cost of one of those custom covers made out of sunbrella fabric.I have had two custom covers made of similar fabric to the Rain-X and they each lasted 2-4 years or more in the Florida sun. The mirror pockets, tiny antenna pocket and the hood ornament is where they go first.

There are velcro straps to secure around the corners. The elastic is plenty tight and I would prefer the velcro wasn't even there as I use it as a dust cover in garage only. However, the straps are there and they are not installed very well. One corner, the velcro stuck back together as I was installing on the car and it pulled right out since it was too tight. For a dust cover I would give it a five if it didn't have the annoying velcro straps.

Good quality cover. No slots for side mirrors, however. Also need better way to deal with antenna through the cover. Manufacturer should provide several factory 1/4" holes spaced about 6 inches apart, reinforced, then ask the buyer to cover the holes with sticky patch supplied. Even the small holes, wouldn't really matter, unless they caught on something but they should be reinforced at the factory. It's really too hard to make the hole yourself and last. Usually it rips into a bigger and bigger hole and ruins the cover.

This is probably one of the upper end car covers you can get before crossing the "made for your specific car" threshold. It is made out of great material, doesn't absorb much if any water, dries out extremely fast after rain or snow melt and it doesn't stick to the car. The full perimeter elastic band makes putting it on a slight challenge, but it also makes the cover stay on the car despite the wind's best attempts to take it off. I've been through alot of car covers over the years as I have a couple vehicle's outside all the time...... I'll be buying these covers from now on.

Great inexpensive cover that is soft enough for any paint. Doesn’t let a drop of water or moisture through but doesn’t hold it underneath either so that’s great. Only complaint is if in direct sun it will destroy it in about a year.

Easy to install and stays put in heavy wind ,great job keeping debris off car finish. AAA+++

Seems like a nice product fit well but first windy day I had left a rip in it there's been several Windy days since there is now four big holes in itI would not recommend this product for outdoors at all waste of money

防風用のバックル式ベルトが車体中央に、各ホイール四本の部分にベルクロで留める方式は、屋外駐車場でも飛ぶことなく台風を乗り切る性能でした。大雨の後にボディカバーをめくると、明らかに浸水しているのがわかりますが、通気性が良いため、中に湿気がこもることはありませんでした。但し、昨年10月の使用開始から9ヶ月が経過した今月、急激に劣化が進み始め、外側表面が細かくひび割れしてささくれ立った感じで、ボディカバーを外す度に白い粉状の物がボディにビッシリ付着するようになり、毎回洗車が必要な感じになりました。残念ながら青空駐車場では一年間はもちません。夏場を経験せずに廃棄です。夏場は更に屋外の使用では劣化が早いかもしれません。総じて優秀ですが、耐久性があと一歩といったところです。実用耐用は８ヶ月

Para challenger scatpack 2019 y queda exelente, llueve yno semoja. El carro no le entra el polvo

メルセデスベンツEクラスに使用。適合表だとLサイズですがちょっと大きめですが装着しやすいです。商品は強めのゴムが前後に入っており真ん中をベルトを通して固定という感じで弱い風ならこれだけで守ってくれます、が強い風が吹くと中に空気が入りあっという間に前か後ろから外れてしまいます。屋外で使用する場合は別途バンド等で固定を強くお勧めします。装着はフロント部にメーカーのプリントがあり分かりやすいですが元々生地の裏表が似通ってるのでたまに逆に装着してしまいますそれと何より気になったのが耐久性。1つ目は8か月程度でものすごい量の白い粉が吹き出し薄くなった場所は破れだすように。破れは補修できますが白い粉だけはどうにもならず2つ目を購入。2つ目はなんとたったの3か月で白い粉が吹き出し　とにかくこの白い粉がとても厄介で車のボディあらゆるところに吸い付き（静電気のせい？）カバーを外すたびに拭き掃除しないとみっともなくてとても乗れません。日光や雨は防げますがものすごい手間です。カーカバーの中では安い部類なので耐久性はこんなものかもしれませんが白い粉の吹き出しさえなければなぁ・・・
