Eeeh, it's OK Needed to tweak the tool to get it working.
The feed channel is crimped down slightly just before entering the crimper jaws. It was over crimped, such that the hog rings wouldn't feed down the channel. Needed to reduce the crimp with a file to get reasonably smooth hog ring feeding. I realize this is a low-volume tool, but for the price, it should be manufactured with better tolerances.There's also no stop when you crimp to a "perfect triangle", so you need to take care not to over-crimp or you'll have a squashed triangle (that may or may not be bad, but it looks kinda ugly and the material doesn't slide through an over-crimped hog ring).
