[Apple Mfi] Iconnect 64 GB Mobile Flash Drive w/ Lightning Connector for iPhones, iPads, iPod Mac & PC USB 3.0 (Iron Gray)

Very nice when it works and useless when it doesn't/ First, I had to order a lightning extension cable in order to connect it to my iPad Pro in its case. Then, as I selected between External and iPad, it became unresponsive. I had to reboot my iPad and the problem reoccurred. The app is flaky with my iPad which is very disappointing. I haven't tried it on my iPhone yet.UPDATE: I believe the problems I had were due to the Lightning connector extension cable not seating well on my iPad Pro's case. If it seats well, the flash drive is excellent.

The device is fine. It is reliable and relatively speedy. The weak link is the iOS application. The application does not support file transfer to and from the device. Can play any media or open files that are put on the device from a computer. In the other direction, only backing up of contacts, photos and videos from the device is supported. Also, you cannot select which contacts, videos and photos are backed - its all or nothing.

Always been a space problem using iPad 16gb - the iConnect is an ideal solution for storing all my books, music etc without the iPad running out of space. Only alternative I have found is the Kingston G2 wireless drive which is not as convenient for iPad or Android tablets

This device lets me do what I need to do to ensure my irreplaceable sound and photo files are protected and safe. Wish I had found it sooner!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife, she has an iphone 6 64GB with over 2000 pictures! So I figured this drive @ 2X her GB would get the job done... But when she plugged it in, it told her the disk was full, although on the app it says available space was 158GB... What a rip!

Installed the app and connected the device (FYI, there is no manual within the box, and the app is not very intuitive). Figured out how to backup my photos after a few minutes and once I got to the photo folder on the app, the app only saw 163 photos of the more than 1600 photos on my phone. backed those up very quickly, but couldn't access the remainder of the photos at all. Sent in a support request to the company and am now waiting for a response. Once I get a response and the issue is resolved, I'll update my review if they get it fixed. Otherwise, it's not useful at all. I'm guessing they are going to tell me that I have too many photos on my phone......but that's why I purchased the device in the first place.

The perfect separate flash drive for iPhones and iPads. No wires or cords needed - the appropriate connectors are on either end. A free app is needed for this product to work. ​The size, weight, and capacity are perfect. It works!
