Works for upto 1.5mi for me!
See my video! Buying this for EDC in case cell reception is lost. Drove away and tested 1.5mi away and comes in fairly clear. Effective for its purpose and for short distances. Good buy and nice pink color!

Be careful of the clips easy to snap and break off clips
Bought these to communicate with crew members across a four-story wooden hotel we're building was totally surprised by the clarity and ability to hear and communicate with these cheap little kids walkies. So impressed I bought two more for the other crew members. If you want to communicate fairly short-range doesn't matter up or down or sideways these will get it done and definitely worth the money.

Easy to use & worth the purchase!
I was satisfied with this purchase. I went on a cruise in 2014 and saw a family w/walkie-talkies. I thought to myself, "That's genius!" So, I purchased these walkie-talkies for my cruise this past year. They worked great. They are light, durable, and easy to use. I was able to communicate on the ship without complications. It made meeting up for dinner or excursions a lot easier.

Lower price, same quality as higher priced ones
We buy lots of these to share around with our friends. The kids totally love them, and adults too. You can't beat the price. The more expensive ones are not any better, just more expensive.

Misleading Title
These are NOT rechargeable! Each one requires 4 AA batteries (not included). I only bought these because they were rechargeable so I wouldn’t have to keep replacing batteries. They are a birthday present so no time to return to get what I really wanted.

Granddaughter Loves Them
My granddaughter loves these. She’s five and they are so easy to use. I do wish they were a little more durable as five year olds aren’t gentle but overall they are good. I will buy more so she can use them when at my house.
