Reasonable price
This is my second pair, the first was destroyed fron a hard crash on an emtb ride but it save my elbow from getting broken i just had a big scratch from the hard impact. I would say this is sufficient enough for acoustic mtb. I would get a hard shell elbow for riding emtb.

These work, but will only last so long
Do they protect? YES. I only wish the material was slightly higher quality.Pro: These are easy to put on, easy to adjust, stay in place fairly well, and don't hamper movement.Con: They are ablative, meaning after each fall more and more of the pad will be scrapped off. Also the material they're made from will slowly rip from pulling them on and off over and over again.

Wonderful guards. Size is a bit awkward for me, though.
I would recommend measuring your elbow to size the one you want. My bicep was XS and my forearm was M, but my elbow is L. Based on the instructions given for measurement, I bought a S instead of XS and could barely fit them on so I ordered a M (got on and it pinched a bunch to bend my arm). After the two suggested sizes from the measurements, I went with my 'go to' size and ordered a L.One week after I ordered the S (and $15.00 later for restock fees and rush shipping), I received the L and they fit great. The bicep and forearm are loose, but the rest of the entire guard fits snug and the spandex grips my are nicely, not letting it move around.I'm 6' and 150 lbs. I know due to my body type and lifestyle, my body is built differently, but a simple "also measure the elbow" line for the measurement would have been ideal as my elbows are the largest part of my arm. The suggestion to measure just the bicep and forearm is where the "gel grip" is located, but honestly I couldn't wear these when I followed their suggestion.I almost never lift anything above my waist and always lift with my legs and not my back, so I have large legs medium forearms and small biceps. This does not make the ideal size for these guards, but a L (although not fitting at the ends) fits snug and I can bend my arms with ease.

Small is too large
I ordered small for both the G-Form Elite knee guards and elbow pads for my teen. The knee guards are too small, while the elbow pads are too large. It is not necessarily the problem of the products, but they did not work for us. The build quality seems to be fine, but I would hope there are more protections on the sides. In a fall, you do not get a chance to choose which part gets hit, so better with more protection.

Comfortable. Stay in place. Run a little small.
Very comfortable, low profile, and stay in place better than I expected. After going down on some rocks and getting 16 stitches in my outer forearm, I learned the hard way to start wearing elbow pads. I've used these a few times now, and am very pleased with them. I ordered medium sized pads after following the sizing guidelines but had to return them for a large because they were uncomfortably tight. I recommend flexing your bicep in a curled position and measuring to get a better reference of what size to get. I'm interested to see how long they last too, especilly after a couple of wipeouts. The stitching that connects the pad to the sleeve looks a little ominous especially when you bend your arm, but only time will tell if they hold up. These are also a little pricey for what you get compared to other brands, but are still a fraction of what your medical cost could be without them.

Soft comfortable material and they function well!
They fit tight if you have any biceps at all I would go a size up than whatever you're thinking about buying but great elbow pads!

Great pads
These elbow pads are really nice. They fit well and stay in place. My friend has the G-Form that are not the elite. I highly recommend going with the elite. They are longer, both the sleeve and the pads. The pads are thicker. The material seems better, and the stitching seems stronger.I have taken a couple of falls with them, and I have complete faith in them.My friend has mediums in the non-elites, and they are the same size as the large elites. First, I ordered the medium elites because his fit me, but I had to return them and get the large. 5' 10" 180 pounds normal body.

OK if you want some lightweight scuff protection.
Very comfortable and discrete when worn under a jersey. They probably won't stay in place particularly well when you first put them on but stick like glue once you warm up. The rubber padding is made from a flat ( but waffled) sheet which doesn't conform to the body as well as I'd like but is still somewhat contour hugging.

Strong, comfortable but wrong sizing measuring system "GO ONE SIZE UP!"
Very strong and comfortable with delivery on time.If you buy a pair, make sure you go one size up because otherwise the sleeve itself will constrict your arm enough for the rubber armor to pinch you when you ride. The official G Form websites measuring system is not accurate and i would recommend to check on their website what size you are while picking the next size up. For example, the width of my bicep is 33cm with my forearm 29cm = making me a "large" arm size on the chart.I ordered Extra Large (XL) which applies another 5cm width around both forearm and bicep which allowed me to have more breathing space when i ride.

Not comfortable, good protection though.
Can't wear for extended periods of time, pinches the skin and restricts mobility.

Great product and proud to wear them to work.
As a stuntman, I wouldn’t use anything else. Perfect for my needs.
