The best £4.70 i've ever spent!
This DVD shows Gary Moore at the top of his game. He has to be one the greatest rock/blues guitarists ever (he could shred like a monster and was an accomplished Jazzer as well). The songs on here show off his playing and singing extremely well and with Albert Collins as a guest what more could you ask for. Classic tracks such as Still Got The Blues, Oh, Pretty Woman and King of The Blues amongst others just show what an absolute genius he was on guitar. There's also a cracking version of Freddie King's ( and Peter Green's) The Stumble. The absolute pinnacle though is Gary's version of Roy Buchanan's The Messiah Will Come again. His 10 min odd version of this is just electrifying and whenever I watch it I just think about sticking my guitars on a bonfire because why bother? ;-) Highly recommended.

A testimony to Gary Moore's guitar talent
This DVD captures Gary Moore back in 1990 when he was promoting the "Still got the blues" album. Fresh from his rock outings, you get Gary Moore belting out his now familiar blues tracks with energy and style against the background of a well honed horn section. The quality of the video recording is excellent and for guitar players, like me, there are numerous close ups of Gary's fretboard antics and no, - he doesn't have twice as many fingers on his playing hand as the rest of us! This DVD gives a timely reminder of why Gary Moore is considered one of the best guitarists there has ever been. A welcome bonus are 3 songs from a 1997 appearance at Montreux where he digs into his rock back catalogue. The video quality is again excellent but this time Gary gives the impression of being on automatic pilot. Overall a worthy addition to any DVD collection

Gary Moore & midnight blues band Live at Montreux 1990
HiI have seen and heard many famous Blues guitarists over the years.( Mayall, P Green, Eric Clapton) and many 'old masters' from the USA. When I got this DVD, I was simply amazed> Gary Moore is incredible, far better than I ever imagined and he sings too!Played on the Philips 'TV SCreen' 52" with full surround sound x 5 channels, Gary Morre and his band are just awesome! He really does make the les paul 'speak and sing and wail' he is a real Master, in my opinion, better than all those mentioned, except possibly Mr Les Paul himself who was a terric blues player. If you enjoy/play guitar and like blues, trust me you will really enjoy this DVD.Get it from Amazon today.Best wishesAdam Richardson.

Magnificent!
Anyone who has ever picked up a guitar should buy this to see what the master could do. This is perfection. Probably the best he ever played. "The Messiah will come again" was worth the money alone - sheer brilliance.
