This is my favorite solder
I've been using this stuff for over a decade now. The first spool that I bought in 2012 lasted me until it ran out. Even though it had a date of manufacture of July 2012 and an expiration date of July 2015, I used it with no problems and the flux in it still worked fine all the way up until 2023 when I finally used it all up.The new spool I ordered in July 2023 has a manufacture date of January 2023 and an expiration date of January 2033. Maybe Indium figured out that their solder lasts a lot longer than 3 years. I expect this spool will last me another decade! The only complaint I have is that Amazon put their stupid internal stock sticker right over the top of the Indium factory sticker that has the manufacture and expiration date, and it doesn't peel off easily. I wish Amazon would have picked a different location for their sticker.Notes about usage: the 63/37 alloy is really easy to work with. This gauge of solder wire (0.032") works well for through-hole components and larger surface-mount stuff. It also works well for tinning my iron tip and filling my hoof tip for drag soldering. If you're getting down to soldering 0603 or 0402 or smaller components, you might want to consider getting another spool of a thinner gauge like 0.015". You can still do tiny stuff with this larger solder wire though -- you'll just need to use extra flux to help transfer the solder directly from your iron tip to the component legs.

Good Solder
I had been using the famous brand name (rhymes with tester) solder for years, but I just couldn't see spending $10 more a roll for it.This solder seems to work just fine. The joints are nice and shinny, melts and flows like a champ. Smoke isn't any worse than the others. On the roll it states it's made here in the USA! I was surprised!I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a pound of 63/37 solder, at a reasonable price.

Good inexpensive solder. Happy with my purchase.
Decent solder, melts, flows and solidifies just fine. I really didn't notice much of an odor good or bad, no complaints from me. As a hobbyist this spool will probably last me a decade or two.

Best solder ever
Indium solder was introduced to me about a year ago. It is top of the line fantastic stuff and is used by many circuit board manufacturing plants. My previous experience with solder has been Kester, Radio Shack and some generic brands. This is superior and worth every penny. Never knew what I was missing until I started using this solder.

Good quality solder for electronics
Used it for a mechanical keyboard build and it compares quite well to kester. Melted at a nice temperature with minimal spattering from the flux core.

This is very nice solder
This solder melts very nicely. Because of the metal composition, there is a very small range of temperatures between fully solid and fully liquid, so it is easy to get nice solder joints with this composition. Other than that it's pretty much just solder. I might say it seems to smoke less and splatter less in the sponge than some other solders I've used, but that could just be my imagination.

Working well for Arduoino related projects
What is there to say about this? It's solder. It's SN63PB37, a eutectic mix, which makes for better joints and easier soldering (in theory...in practice, I agree). That means that the tin and lead both solidify at the same temp, vs not in 60/40 mixes. It's a 1LB spool, which should last me until I lose it. I really don't see myself running out anytime soon. It was available with Prime shipping, so I got it VERY quick, as usual. It's thin enough for the work I do, yet not so thin I need an inch or two for every joint. It was relatively cheap. If I ever run out of this spool, I wouldn't hesitate to get more of the same. If I needed thicker or thinner solder, I'd stick with this brand too.

This is very high quality solder! It melts real ...
This is very high quality solder! It melts real smooth and the no-clean flux leaves a clear and hard residue. You'll want to throw away any stock of organic rosin-core solder that leaves behind that sticky brown goop.
