I've owned a lot of pocket knives but never one having a claw blade. When I considered my normal use, that of opening boxes and cutting rope or twine, it made sense to me that the claw blade would work wonderfully. This is well constructed and is small enough to wear every day in my pocket easily.

For the price range this knife has a lot to recommend it- it is smooth opening with one hand, pretty fast to bring into use and it has a solid lockup when it's open. Plus you won't be afraid to use it daily since the price as of the date of this review is a lot more reasonable than other brand names made in the same style, you won't cry if you lose it or lend it.

Been looking for a replacement for the best EDC knife I've ever owned and lost, S&W small curved serrated cuttin horse. Been looking for many years. This thing is better. Quality build in every detail, especially the way it fits the hand in reverse grip. The bearing action allows for the knife to open with the flick of a wrist. The only difference is that it's out of the box sharpness doesn't raise the hairs on the back of my neck, but I'm confident with some diamond sharpening this will change. All around extremely pleased, especially for the price.

The knife is very light and will do the job that I need it for. Not an expensive knife so if I lose it I will definitely buy again to replace it.

Comes with audible bearings, just add oil and it will silence that. The liner lock had too much material removed; when spidey flicked, its impossible to close knife with one hand because the liner lock is not quite finished well. The detent is too strong and probably contributes to the lock up issues. If the detent was smaller and the liner lock was finished better, this would be an awesome knife.You can find better fit and finish with other similarly priced knives. I recommend the Spyderco Byrd Hawkbill; its $34 and feels way better in hand.
