Classy CapsSL211W Aluminum Imperial Solar Post Cap, Fits a 4" x 4" 3.5" x 3.5" Post, White

I purchased 5 of these about 2 years ago and only one still works today. I tried new rechargeable batteries and that did not work. If you are thinking that these will last because they are more expensive, think again.

After the fist winter they all died. Batteries still good but they no longer work. Complete waste of money.

These aren't cheap, but I've had them installed around my deck for a few months now. Now that the days are longer (and nights are shorter), they stay lit all night long. The metal construction means they won't rot over time. I had some plastic versions that literally just fell apart on the posts over a couple of years of being eaten by the Florida sun. These were much more expensive, but seem to be worth the money.

It was inexpensive, solid, easy to install, looked very nice in daylight, looks very nice at night! The solar charging works just as you might expect. I was also pleased to see that there was an on-off switch inside--not available when mounted on the post, but it gives you options,.

Says it fits a 4x4 post. They must mean wooden post. I have 4x4 aluminum railing and it almost, but would not fit. Was very disappointed because these are nice. But, Amazon took it back.

These are really well made and they're exactly what I wanted, but the price is for only one item not two.

These lights work well and give off a lot of light. I have 9 currently on my deck. I haven’t attached these using the provided screws as I’m considering removing these for the winter months and it hasn’t made a difference. The lights fit snug on the posts and the wind hasn’t impacted these at all. It sounds like people who are either in areas with stronger winds or don’t have a tight fit with there posts do need use the screws but I haven’t had any issues. Lights turn on at dusk and seem to last until well into the night. No issues with the shipping as well.

Easy to install and very bright. Tried the plastic ones at the big box stores and in a year or 2 they fade and look Terrible. These fit great and look like they are part of the post and not an ill attempt to add on. Very happy even though they were much more expensive.I get up before sunrise and they are still on, all of them. That never happened in the pAst.
