Best travel water bottle ever
Best water bottle ever. I took it on a two trip to Europe and it was a life saver. Easy to use, the charge lasted the entire trip, sleek and slim so it fit easily into my bag, and best of all I never had to worry about dehydration or the xtra cost of buying water.

The best water bottle
I gave this to my husband for a Christmas gift. He never washes his water bottles, so I figured this one would fit the bill for his water bottle requirements AND keep germs at bay so he can keep chugging. He thinks the self cleaning technology is really cool, and he made a joke about having to clean his water bottle and how that's a first world problem. Lol The slim design fits in his car cup holder, and the fact that there is no annoying straw makes my husband happy. I'm happier knowing that he isn't going to get sick from drinking from the same water bottle for months without washing it! Win-Win

Perfect indoor water companion!
The water bottle so far seems exactly as advertised and wonderful. I love having clean tap water that doesn’t taste like it came from the tap. I also like knowing that the added bacteria and viruses that the tap doesn’t filter out, particularly well, are taken care of. There is no smell that I noticed in the bottle nor the water that comes from it post-purification. The size of a bottle is 32 ounces in my model, and it is the perfect size for at-home water usage. I have not noticed any sweating nor leaking once the lid is screwed on tight. To wash the bottle, you can remove the rubber sleeve, and it is a very easy process to clean it beyond the UV lighting. Do not stick it in the dishwasher. This is not recommended nor safe. It says it can handle other beverages that are cold, but that will require more frequent cleaning, and only water is recommended. The bottle is very easy to use and only requires a 4 to 5-hour charge with the included micro USB cable. My only complaint would be that it isn’t USB-C nor is there an option to purchase a USB-C lid. This is clearly marked in the listing, but I still wish this was considered since it’s 2024. Overall, this is an excellent bottle for anyone needing basic purification from bacteria and viruses. If you plan to use this outdoors, just remember that it will not keep cold beverages cold nor can it handle hot beverages. The sizing is perfect, and it fits in cupholders wonderfully in my experience. The added grip is also much needed for a Butterfingers like me. Would recommend very much!

Nope
OK, I’m gonna return this thing. I have no idea what it’s supposed to do push the top what it just lights up. It doesn’t do anything. I thought it was to purify the water, but it doesn’t do that or anything. It’s a light on a lid. it’s a Handsome bottle but it doesn’t even keep the water cold so what it’s supposed to do I don’t know I would not buy this if I were you. It doesn’t seem to have any purpose and it’s all whatever I don’t know what all the hype is in the In The listing, but it doesn’t do anything. I thought it was supposed to purify the water and I said something about you know makes it less stinky or something about temperature control, and thinking like what does that mean you mean if it’s too cold you’re gonna make it hot cause that’s a for sure thing The water is warm and if it sits stagnant for a day, it smells just like any other water bottle so I don’t know what the deal is I would not waste your money on this. I’m sending mine back. It’s ridiculous.

Great Idea!
This is a great idea for a product and Larq obviously put a lot of effort into it. These are the most stylish water bottles I've ever seen--in all the various color combinations between the bottle itself and the non-slip sleeve. It's also very easy to use, with a simple and informative "user interface" of multi-color LEDs. Some things to be aware of: 1) Like all UV water purifiers, you shouldn't use it with turbid water--it's essential the UV-C rays be able to penetrate the water throughout the bottle to disinfect it properly. 2) The top cap, which contains the electronics, the UV emitter LED and the rechargeable Lithium battery is *not* water proof, so when you wash the bottle, you can't really submerge or wash the cap conventionally. I decided to use alcohol wipes on mine, as alcohol kills germs and evaporates quickly. 3) You should always avoid directly viewing UV light, as it can damage your eyes. To that end, the cap has a safety feature such that when you remove the cap from the bottle, the power level to the UV LED is reduced. This feature, though, works off of a light sensor--if the cap is removed from the bottle, exposing the electronics to ambient light, the safety is activated. Unfortunately this approach is not the most reliable in that if you take the cap off in subdued light or darkness, the sensor won't detect the cap is exposed and the LED will continue to operate at full power. I'd rather have seen a mechanical switch or magnetic sensor which would insure that no matter the ambient conditions, the safety would always activate if the cap is removed from the bottle. I glad this unit uses a standard Micro-USB charging port compared to some similar products which use proprietary charging connectors/cables--that way it is easy to replace a lost, worn out or damaged cable. I would however, have liked to have seen included an attached protective cap which could be snapped into the USB charging port to protect it against bad weather, drops into puddles/creeks, or entry of foreign debris which can often happen during outdoor activities. I do agree with other reviewers, the rolled edge on the bottle is not a great idea, however I've had other bottles with rolled edges over the years and all I did was soak the top of the bottle in bleach for a short while when it was time to clean them. At least the cap covers the rolled edge, so the edge is not likely going to get debris in it when you are carrying the bottle around. As for the people complaining that is has a Micro-USB charging port instead of USB-C--come on, you've got to be kidding! Like most people, I've got scores of products in my home, car and gear which use Micro-USB charging ports (for example--aside from cell phones--digital cameras, e-readers, portable air compressor, handheld trail GPS, security cameras, test equipment, solar-power devices, LED flashlights, battery chargers, music players, internet radio, walkie-talkies, etc., etc.), along with dozens of Micro-USB cables that were included with them. I currently have exactly two devices with USB-C. I bought a handful of micro-USB to USB-C adapters for them. There is no advantage to using a USB-C connector on a non-data product and Micro-USB cables are cheaper and more readily available (supermarkets, gas stations, convenience stores--just about everywhere) since they are still the charging port used on the vast majority of cell phones in the entire world and will be for years to come--not everybody replaces their phone whenever a new model is released...

Great Travel Bottle But Questionable Lid
Bought this after seeing the promo from Shark Tank and doing some research a few months ago. It’s a nice looking water bottle. Fits well in my hand and slim enough to travel with. I bought the model that contains the rubber/silicone grip but found the grip was more cumbersome when it came to placing in my backpack bottle holster; the silicone grip would get stuck and either come off/undone plus would constantly attract dust and debris. In the end I removed it and feel it carries better. This same model isn’t insulated and I wish I had splurged on the insulated model. It tends to sweat a lot when adding ice or cold water. As for the lid, I’m still a little skeptical on the UV light aspect. Maybe it’s a placebo but it does give me some peace of mind when filling up at the airport fountains or on tap. The lid is a lot heavier than anticipated but it makes sense for the electric components. One thing that really bothers me is the rubber gasket that seals the lid and lip. For some reason it always gets caught when taking the lid off and rolls out of place causing the lid to make an obnoxious squeak while twisting on/off. With the gasket shifted, it’s more difficult to take off the lid. Every once in a while I’ll have to jam a chopstick or something slim in the crevice to put it in place. Besides the lid issues, the bottle does its job. I still would splurge on the insulated bottle even though it’s less volume. But if you’re skeptical of the UV feature, I’d spend my money for a cheaper slim, insulated bottle.

Shark Tank Find
It's worth the hype. I first saw this water bottle on Shark Tank. It is pricey, but it's nice. I've had this for a few days now, and I cannot taste a difference between this water or my Berkey Filtered water. Personally, I wish there was a handle. I can be a bit clumsy when holding the bottle, but the rubber shells keep its safe from dings. It's really awesome for travel, fits in the cup holder nicely, but not a hiking bottle.

Not worth $100
Not worth 100 bucks. This bottle is not very insulated, and I don't believe ice would last very long. The sterilizing light is not very bright and I'm not sure if that means it doesn't work or not, but I was expecting it to be brighter. All in all it looks cheaply made for the price I paid. I just got the bottle today, but if I form a different opinion in the weeks to come I will give an update.

It really does work!
Expensive but do actually work! Went to India with two of these and had no problem with drinking local tap water that had been cleaned through this water holder. Easy to charge with USBC socket and lasted for weeks. No issue with smells or taste. Would recommend.

Great Water Bottle That Does What It Says
I was apprehensive that this bottle would do all that it says it would but after reading some reviews on tech sites I decided to give it a try. Wow, I am glad that I did. Aesthetically it is pretty nice looking water bottle with a good rubber grip on the lower section and a matte, metallic upper portion. Easy enough to use with simplistic button presses and a pretty substantial battery life also. I have never washed the interior since I have bought it and unlike my older workout water bottle that I wash regularly (and it still stinks) this bottle smells like the day I first got it. It is ideal for taking on hikes. Filling it up at waterfalls, streams, creeks and even lakes and giving it a blast of the adventure mode the water tastes great and the bottle doesn't smell like the water source for long. As of yet I have not gotten sick from it either. They are typically Rocky Mountain streams and lakes too so there are definitely worse water sources out there. Just a few negatives; Hard to tell just where to fill it up to as seeing the protruding component on the lid may cause water to overflow out when you put the cap on. Also, being a single walled construction it doesn't hold its temperature for very long, especially in sunlight. Definitely better than a plastic bottle however. Leading to my next con; even with a single walled construction this thing is pretty heavy when filled. A lot of the weight coming from the lid with the battery and components of the UV-C light. Also, as you can see (from the pictures) under the cap and where it contacts the bottle the paint is coming off on both. It was like this pretty much when I got it but it doesn't seem to be flaking off more as of yet which was my concern with such a pricey water bottle. Overall I would definitely recommend this to those who are sick of cleaning water bottles just to have them still smell and for those who hike to remote areas and do not want to carry a Camelpak and can safely refill your water without worry of micro-bacteria.

High quality and works well
Great quality and well-made product. Just ensure that you clean it well the first time before using it, as it smells strange. Other than that, all is solid and of quality build
