My local Academy store has apparently decided that only cheap shoddy Chinese junk can be sold and furthermore, only in the wrong weights and colors, and further, once it is gone, there is no need to re-stock, since the sorry tackle they sell will convince their customers they need to go buy some tennis shoes instead because there is no need to try to catch fish. My wife and I are very particular about our tackle, know what we are doing, and catch lots of fish on the Gulf Coast- and have pretty much given up on Academy- unfortunately we don't really have a good option other than mail order due to our location. The jigs we received as a gift from our daughter are perfect in all respects. Charlies worms has a new steady customer!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!!!!!!!

These jigs heads have very sharp hooks and a strong lead shaft, but the heads are small in relation to your swimbaits, I ordered 1/8 oz. but was sent 1/4 heads inside of packaging marked 1/8 oz. now that's either being slick or careless and they also charge for shipping, but you get snail mail for your money so no, I don't recommend you purchase these...!
