Very nice finish...but don't forget adhesion promoter for some jobs!
I bought a couple cans of this to try refinishing the very faded and chalky-looking front bumper on my old Caravan. Following advice from some online videos, I did a lot of cleaning, sanding, and more cleaning before laying down the paint. When it dried in about an hour it looked like garbage. Shiny, satiny spots here, dull flat spots there. Ugh! I went back to a particularly helpful video and scrolled through the comments to see what I did wrong. In pretty short order many people mentioned using an adhesion promoter primer for bumpers. Several videos I watched made no mention of adhesion promoter, so I didn't consider it. I grabbed a can from the local parts store and gave it another go. After re-sanding and re-cleaning, I put down two light coats of adhesion promoter. The stuff dried very quickly and in under 10 minutes I started re-painting with the trim & bumper paint. Two light coats, about 10 minutes apart, followed by two slightly heavier coats. What a difference!! Smooth, even color with a slightly satin finish. Looks great! I really hope this stuff holds up in the Texas sun for at least a few years. The Caravan bumper took two-and-a-half cans of this paint and less than half a can of adhesion promoter. Well worth the money, time, and effort in my opinion.

Durable, professional quality finish!
Used this on the dashboard of an old golf cart and it looks like new! It’s been a few months now and it still looks perfect. We use the golf cart on our property and not everyone is careful. No one has managed to scratch it yet. I think that is amazing! Even teenaged boys haven’t been able to damage the finish! It sprays evenly, dries very quickly, looks and lasts great. Even an amateur can create a professional finish. It’s easy to use and works perfectly. I’ve used it on so many things now, I will be recommending this product and buying more.

Expensive but worth it
Used this to paint faded trim on a Chevy Avalanche and it looks great. Takes several cans but if you prep the plastic correctly first and apply in several light coats, it turns out looking great. Photo was taken while in progress so you can see the difference.

Excellent Restoration Product
This product works great! I was restoring a 13 year old Kubota tractor. As it was used and stored outside, the black plastic trim pieces all showed signs of sun damage. I had disassembled the entire tractor so that I could do a quality job on the restoration. In some cases, I had to purchase replacement trim parts from the manufacturer. I sprayed a couple coats of the Dupli-Color on the old trim parts. I also sprayed the new parts I had purchased so new and old would match. I cannot express in words just how pleased I am with the final product. There is a matted, even finish. Even the touch of the surface of the finished piece "feels" right. I bring that up because I also tried the Rustoleum Trim and Bumper Paint. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. The Rustoleum product left an uneven matte/semi-matte finish and it felt "tacky" long after it's drying time. Note: Rustoleum generally makes wonderful products. Do not hesitate to order and use this product.
