Great piece of history in the palm of your hand
This is a fantastic 75th anniversary book to help celebrate DC Comics. The book contains 100 ready to frame posters, with additional covers of the series mentioned on the back of the posters. The ready to frame posters are perforated and tear right out of the book. They measure about 13 x 11. The covers look like scans of the vintage comics, and some show their age. I guess they decided to show comic covers with creases to depict the age of the comic. I enjoy that better than having them digitally airbrushed. It looks more like a piece of classic art. If you are hesitant in buying the book because you don't know what ready to frame covers there are inside, here is the list of the 100 covers in the order they show up in the book.1.New Fun #1 (1935)2.Detective COmics #11 (1938)3.Action Comics #1 (1938)4.Detective COmics #27 (1939)5.Superman #1 (1939)6. I highly recommend this book.

Bigger and better than I thought
I didn't really pay attention to the dimensions but this is a large format book which works well for its intended use. On the back of each poster is a write up of that particular cover with other interesting facts. Really enjoyable book to look through and appreciate the art of comic covers through the years.

Good but could've been better
This collection of poster-size covers from DC Comics' storied history leans heavily on the Golden and Silver Ages and breezes through the more recent past. I appreciate the efforts to include overlooked genres (e.g., licensed titles such as Mr. District Attorney, teen titles such as Binky and the romance titles), but was surprised at the dearth of more recent work (the Vertigo Doom Patrol, the 5YL Legion, George Perez's WW, most of the JLA's history) and odd selections for others (like a Superman/Demon cover for Action to represent Byrne's revamp). It also looks like the book purposely avoided iconic covers by Adams, Hughes, etc., to avoid competing with recent books of those artists' work -- a misstep for a book aimed at casual readers interested in seeing the best of the company's history.

Wonderful gift for comic lovers!
This gift is great, I plan on giving this as a gift along with a picture frame so they can switch out which poster they would want to display. The poster are a nice size and printed on nice paper. The only negative comment I would give is that they don't tell you what size the posters are, not a big deal though I just have to measure them.

Gift
Got it as a gift for my boyfriend, I was afraid it was going to be too childish but he loved it. He couldn't even hold a full conversation after I gave it to him because he was already reading the blurbs on the backs of the pages.

Very good
Not as good as the DC Poster Portfolio series as the paper quality is not so good and the size is a little less but the covers are still superb and there is a nice mix of 40s 50s 60s etc as well as up to 2011. Really enjoyed this volume and was a pleasure to buy - includes all kinds of classic covers with a lot of information about them on the back

The Holy Bible of Comic Fans!
This was a brilliant product for the comic-geek boyfriend which provided a stroke of genius to his bedroom decorating dilemma. Not only did it provide a nostalgic, fascinating read on the history and origins of the DC classics but it also provided design features that could fill his wall with stunning visual displays via the posters which could be carefully removed and framed on his wall. A heavily appreciated buy that will have a lasting legacy!

Great For The Amount Of Art You Get
This is great and was a decent price for how many pieces of Artwork you get. The quality is really good, their are more classic comic covers then contemporary but you do get both. The ease to rip it out is good no scissors needed so rest at ease. Nice little bio on each comic cover. You'll find some funny comic covers as well, never expected.

Great Book
I have bought this book so that I can use the covers to create a superhero montage wall in my son's new superhero bedroom. I couldn't be more pleased. Lots of really great covers. Excellent value for money, especially if you intend to use them as posters.

Plain perfect
Seriously. So many amazing covers ready to frame. Legendary works of art like Green Lantern by Neal Adams, Watchmen, The Dark Knight Returns, etc. 100% recommended.
