My Best Option Short of Extensive Re-Wiring But It's Not Red Oak
One section of my house has very old wiring--no grounded 3-prong outlets and not very accessible for re-wiring. My immediate problem was that I bought a new TV and didn't realize it would have a 3-prong plug.An intermittent problem we had was when my son was visiting, there was no 3-prong outlet in his room to plug in his computer. For this purpose we had been using a cheap cord concealer to run a cord to a grounded outlet in the hall, but it could not handle a second cord. This cord cover easily handles two heavy duty cords in the main channel. Each cord is round and about a quarter inch in diameter. They are heavy duty extension cords like you would use for a power tool. There is still room in the conduit for a smaller cord or speaker wires, not to mention two additional small side channels (you'd have to thread wires through the side channels). This cover lays much flatter than our old cheap one. It's not perfectly flat but that may be because one of the cords has to make a quick right angle turn as it exits the conduit and the tension may affect the cord cover. Or maybe I should have worked on it longer out of the box, to undo the curve from being coiled. Maybe it will get better with time, but it's good enough for me, it's just barely not flat on the floor at one end.I am happy to get a brown cover to blend in better than the old gray one, but this brown does not remotely match what they call Red Oak around here. It's just plain brown. My floors are 50's golden reddish brown hardwood and I was hoping for a reddish brown (based on another review, not on the product photo). Oh well.

Great for shop use
This cord cover met all my criteria: heavy-duty, the 1/2" tall enclosure easily fit my 3/8" dia. cord, AND precisely the odd length, 30 in., that I was seeking. It came tightly coiled and quite stiff but a spell at room temperature then warmth from a gas fireplace (hairdryer would also work) served to flatten it. Should hold-up very well on the floor of my workshop. Well worth the price.

Arrived dirty but very usable after washing
Dirty. Needed to wash off front and back surfaces. Was length and color ordered. Appears durable: thick; malleable when heated via sunlight or hot water (latter used for washing surfaces.)

Perfect
The center hole was larger than I thought and for that, I am VERY grateful. I bought the cover thinking I could cut it in half to house the 3 wires I was trying to run in 2 separate strips.. I was extremely happy when I discovered all 3 would fit in the center groove, especially as cutting this in half would have required some act of God.. its VERY SOLID, and WIDE. I was looking for exactly this information when I bought it but it wasn't in any review so I hope this helps you.In the center groove I fit: 1 Outdoor rated electrical Extension cord, a normal thickness HDMI cable, and a thinner cable which leads to a 3.5mm plug which is a typical headphone audio-out wire. [leading to plug for wireless headphone receiver on the other side of the room in my case] In other words .. its VERY large and it ships FLAT in a long box. When it arrived I tried to remember if I had ordered a set of ski's, and I don't ski... When I opened it I was very surprised that it was actually the runner. This one may cost more but I am so lad I chose this one. I suggest you do the same!

Pretty stiff material
Good thing is it comes in many colors. Bad thing is it really doesn't lay flat on the floor even after weighting it with heavy books for days. Channel not big enough for the power cable a four thin cables so I thought it wasn't laying flat due to the cables coming out so moved to another area on tile floor with only one thin power cord and it still did not lay flat and it was only a 3 foot long piece. Ordered some special tape to tape it down. Ended up covering the original 5 cables with Eapele product on Amazon which lays flat easily, has a much wider channel without being higher. Only downside to Eapele is it only comes in industrial black with yellow warning stripes, but much more flexible. and doesn't need adhesive to hold it down.

Works with my Roomba
My Roomba vacuum was getting tangled in one of the cords in my living room. This covered and concealed the cord well and the Roomba can get over it without getting tangled. Perfect

Sits flat and matching color
I'm pretty happy with this. It sits flat, I don't need to glue it to my floor and it matches my floor. Me or my wife hasnt tripped over my ethernet cord that runs to my office. Inexpensive also. To make it flat, I just put a semi-heavy box on it overnight. The box was probably only about 15 - 20 pounds. Really happy i found this brown one. Black would have been ugly in this area. Works great and as expected. Thanks!

Easy to install, easy to cut, effective indoor.
Was very easy to install. I've placed all wires in the middle sleeve, so I wouldn't have to re-wire anything. That being said, the middle sleeve is open; It's easy to place any of your wires inside of it. The two on the outside (on the left/right) require you to run the wire(s) through the opening. The outside of the duct is a strong rubber material. I wouldn't recommend using it outdoors for vehicle traffic (it may be fine for bicycle/non-motorized scooter traffic/skates/etc.), but it's more than enough for indoor protection. Not only does it protect your wires, but it also reduces the risk of people tripping all over the place. The gray color was also very nice atop my dark-blue carpet. Comfortable to walk on barefoot as well.Edit: Oh yes, almost forgot. Using a tape-measure, permanent marker and a box-cutter, I was able to cut the duct into two different lengths as well, allowing me to place a total of two covers in my house. If you don't need 5 ft. but need to cover two indoor wire runs, then you may be able to get by with this.
