The VANESSA PRO Flat Iron is one of the best straighteners I’ve tried. It heats up very quickly and glides through the hair without pulling or snagging. My hair looks smooth, shiny, and frizz-free after just one pass, which saves me a lot of time. I also love that it has adjustable temperature settings, so I can use lower heat on delicate sections and higher heat when I want a sleek finish. The plates feel gentle but effective, and I’ve noticed less damage compared to other irons I’ve used. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and works great for both straightening and soft waves. Definitely worth it if you want salon-quality results at home!

This is the best flat iron I have ever owned! I already have straight hair, but this flat iron makes it perfect! The best part about this one is that I can use it to curl my hair, too, because of the curved edges! It heats up really fast and has an auto turn off if you forget to unplug it like I do!

I've purchased numerous flat irons but I can honestly say the VANESSA PRO is the only one that gives me a silk press better than any of the others I've ever purchased and I'm no spring chicken and I've purchased quite a few of flat irons. The VANESSA PRO is the best one I have ever had I wished I had bought it a lot sooner. It really gives me a fabulous silk press that lasts for a very long time especially with the products I use. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other irons. I would leave a picture but I'm not very photogenic 😕. Give them a try I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I have naturally thick/curly hair that frizzes if left to its own devices so a straightening iron is something I always keep in my possession. My last one took a nose dive off the counter and stopped getting up to temp so I had to quickly replace it. This one had good reviews with great results in the customer photos, and the price was much better than Ulta Beauty (which I almost visited out of desperation). I waited one day for it to arrive and got right to work seeing what I got for the money. Yessssss! Once it got to temp (I like 450 degrees) which took no time at all, it worked its magic. The pic is left side straightened, right side still natural curls. My hair is long so it takes almost an hour to get each chunk of hair that I divide up, but the end results are worth it to me. My hair is soft, smooth, and a lot less frizz. One downside is that the straightener has a burnt smell to it after a while. Maybe the temp I use is too high, but if my hair starts frying off I guess that’ll be my answer 😅 The other downside is where the on/off button is located. It’s on the bottom side and my hand brushes over it repeatedly and I’m wary I’ll accidentally turn it off. I’m always hesitate about buying the off brand cheaper straighteners but so far so good with this one. I also like the long oval shape of the iron. It’s esthetically pleasing to me.

I have very fine/ thin hair, that has tight curls underneath that get less curly as you get to the top layer. I don't have enough curl to fix it curly, so I have to flat iron it or curl it. This flat iron works well for both. I love that I can turn the heat down for my hair, and my daughters can turn it up for their thicker/fuller hair.

Good products really do make all the difference. I haven’t had a straightener in years because I always have a hard time getting my hair to the texture I want it when straight. Getting this straightener paired with the Olaplex No. 9 and a blow dry first, FINALLY got me to the smooth, almost silky texture I’d given up on finding. Not to mention the straightener just looks pretty with the black and metallic plates! I’ll upload pictures next time I use it, didn’t grab any this time.

One of the reasons I purchased this straightener is because it advertises temperature control buttons on the device. The first time I used it, I pushed the - (lower the temperature) several times, but the device was still scorching hot. When I tapped the off button, I noticed the device didn’t turn off without unplugging it. The second time, I just plugged it in without tapping the on/off button and, as I suspected, the device turned on without ever pressing a button. Next I tested the + / - temperature controls and they did nothing. I think this is just a cheap device with “ornamental” buttons. They clearly do nothing. When my husband walked by the bathroom when I was using this, alarmed he asked, “What’s burning?!” It was the device running so hot he could smell it all the way in the hall. As others have noted, the plates do not gently glide through your hair. They kind of stick and catch. Between the extreme hit and inability to glide, I had crimp marks in my hair wherever the straightener snagged up. Not the smooth, shiny look I was going for. This product would be too damaging to my hair to use regularly and the results are not desirable. I requested a return.

Pros: heats up quickly, variable heat settings, auto off.. it does what it needs to but it doesn’t do it GREAT. Cons: it broke after less than a year. It doesn’t glide smoothly. Random strands of hair will get caught. Overall, it’s an okay product. However, for the price, there are better products that have a longer lifespan.
