Giro Nailed It!
Purchased these to replace my well worn and beloved 8-year old Shimanos with Velcro straps, as the Velcro was beginning to lose its holding ability. After searching the internet for "Best road bike shoes for 2017" and the like, I was certain that I'd be purchasing shoes with a Boa System, but before dropping some serious coin, I spent the day biking with a friend of a friend that was sporting these shoes in orange. I asked him about them, as the laces seemed counter intuitive to the "modern" Boa shoes I'd been reviewing. He raved about the shoe's comfort and fit and I was intrigued. In short read some great articles about these shoes, overcame my apprehension about laces and chains, and purchased these shoes last week. After only 75 miles I can already state that I love these shoes! Better in everyway than my old kicks (which I liked very much). I wear size 11 in all of my running shoes, both road and trail. I'm generally a 10.5 in "other" everyday dress and casual shoes. I consider my feet on the narrow side and my arches are low. They exist, but there's not a lot to them. Based on other reviews, I purchased a size 45. The fit is excellent. I probably could have obtained a perfect fit with a 44.5, but they just as easily might have been a tad to snug. I'll never know because I'm keeping the 45s. I'm able to lace the shoes tightly where needed and can ease up in other spots. The toe box is roomy for me (I like this) and there's room enough for thicker socks come winter. I have exactly a thumb width of space between my longest toe and the tip of the toe box. These shoes are much lighter than my previous shoes. I have my cleats as far forward as they'll go on these shoes and interestingly they're further "back" (more to the center/arch) on my foot than my previous shoes. I actually like this better as my feet/calves feel less fatigued than I'm used to. For the money, I think these shoes are an excellent buy. The laces stay put in the lace keeper on the tough and fit is extremely adjustable across my foot. They look sharp, fit like a glove, and are exactly what I was hoping they'd be. I highly recommend these shoes.

The mediocre of both worlds
These shoes were a regrettable purchase. They fit comfortably, are stylish, and clip in easily to my hybrid SPD pedals. The problem is the grip on the sole is poor when using the flat side of hybrid pedals or dedicated flat pedals. This is caused by the design of the sole, as the back portion is like a heal, so the middle is lifted up with far less traction and serves as a sort of dead spot where the pins cannot grip as well. Other MTB shoes have a sole that is completely flat for a good reason -- to maintain contact with the pedal and pins -- but these soles are not flat, and I cannot figure out why. I'll use these shoes, and the hybrid pedals, for riding on paved trails in the winter, but there are far better solutions for that kind of setup.

Good SPD-compatible cycling shoes that are also comfortable for walking
These shoes are well-made and fit correctly according to size. Mounting SPD cleats was a snap and they are sufficiently recessed so that walking is no problem. The shoes have an appropriate level of stiffness for cycling yet aren't too stiff so that walking becomes a chore. They seem every bit as good as my similar Shimano SPD-compatible shoes.

Great quality materials and top quality customer support
Such high quality shoes. Premium materials and fit extremely comfortably. Seller was great as well. I had to make multiple exchanges and they were very responsive and made my exchange process very easy. Highly recommend them!

Nice but tight fit
I have about 800 miles on this show and like it. It does run small so would be very careful about sizing. I had issues with hot spots at first but those have gone away. Not sure if it's more of breaking in the shoe vs. getting used to it. Either way, I would buy it again.

OK fit, cleat attachment issues.
The fit is ok, for wide shoes, I expected more width, but the real issue is the lack of build quality for the cleat screws. One of the screw holes doesn't even line up with the hole on the sole, so one of the cleats can only be attached with 2 screws, causing it to lift away from the sole when cycling. I wouldn't recommend these due to the poor quality control for the most important part of the shoe.
