Love this grill! I use it a few times a week, set it up on my gas stove on a pizza stone base, and the range hood on med to wick away the smoke..makes for some delicious lamb chops, blackened salmon, kabobs, and grilled veggies! Easy to clean up, and set up, I definitely recommend!

Love this grill! We didn't need a huge one since there is only the 2 of us - this is the perfect size. It does a couple of steaks, 2-4 hamburgers, 2-4 chicken breasts (1/2 breasts), and enough kabobs or hotdogs for the two of us. Clean us is easy - most parts can go into the dishwash with only the plastic tray and unit itself needing hand wash. I love the temperature control with the sear option. Only complaint is that the power cord is a little short and can get in the way of the lid if you're not careful.

I am a HUGE fan of QUALITY products and this indoor grill fits that bill. My Husband and I ENJOY having a GOOD steak or burger once in a while and we only "fire up" our VERY LARGE outdoor charcoal grill during the summer season. We have owned an indoor grill from a well known brand for years...However, it tends to "char" the food BEFORE it's fully cooked because it DOES NOT have a temperature control setting. This leads to "dryness" of the meat.Though, I liked that our OLD grill had removable plates that I could clean in the dishwasher, the fact that I could NOT control the temperature always bothered me because of the way our food would cook. It would also trap grease in hard to reach places and drip down under the removable plates and burn the surface. Furthermore, it didn't have quite enough cooking space for our needs.So, when I decided to UPGRADE a few of our kitchen appliances, a new indoor grill was at the TOP of the list. I searched Amazon for indoor grills that had the features that I wanted and needed and I came across this Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Grill. It boasted ALL of the features that I was looking for. For one, it's stainless steel, it also has a temperature control setting, sizable and removable grill plate that's dishwasher safe AND a glass viewing window!! Also, the lid is an actual lid and does NOT come in contact with our food.I love that the lid is also removable, however, I wish the lid was dishwasher safe...But, unfortunately it is NOT. The drip pan is more of a "drip drawer," which I absolutely LOVE because I no longer have to worry about grease drippings on the counter. It is also dishwasher safe. The base of the unit is VERY EASY to wipe clean, which is another plus.So far, I have only grilled burgers on this grill. They were the BEST burgers that we've ever had using an indoor grill!! My Husband referenced how JUICY the burgers were, which I noticed and APPRECIATED as well. The burgers were cooked to PERFECTION with AMAZING grill marks, without being charred and dried out. I can easily fit 6 [1/3 pound] burgers on here, instead of only 2 at a time.I would HIGHLY recommend this item to anyone looking for a QUALITY indoor grill. Just keep in mind that the removable lid is NOT dishwasher safe, so you will have to clean it by hand. However, the lid is EASY to clean with hot soapy water. Also, be sure to check dimensions because this is a nice-sized grill and takes up a decent amount of counter space. The pros DEFINITELY outweigh the cons or should I say "con" with this item.Thank you, Amazon for another QUALITY item for our kitchen!!

This grill is easy to use and heats up quickly. Food cooks evenly. I like that the drip tray is under the grill plate and is removal for easy cleaning. I gave the grill 4 stars because even though the grill plate is removal it is not easy to clean. The grill plate is slotted which allows for fat to drip into the drip tray but also allows for food to stick on the side of the slots. The last time I used it I sprayed it with cooking spray, even though the plate is supposed to be nonstick. That may have helped a little, next time I’ll do a better cook spraying between the slots and see if that helps with clean up. I’m also going to order an OXO electric grill brush to see if it makes cleaning easier.

Indoor grill. Excellent quality. it. Fits nicely on my counter. Looks exactly like the pic. Provides nice grill marks.Easy to clean. Cooks meat perfectly. Love the small window. Easy to put together. Just 3 pieces that slide into place. Very pleased with this grill.

Love it, love it, love it! I've grilled chicken, bacon, and hamburgers easily and with no smoke. Cleanup literally takes about five minutes if I wash by hand, but the grill plate can also be put in the dishwasher. I also think that it has great heat settings and the sear setting is a great added feature. I did my research and the Hamilton Beech offered the best value for my budget.

Great little indoor grill for the money. Steaks and burgers taste great. You must preheat the grill until the green light comes on to properly use the grill. It is super easy to clean - only three parts to remove and clean after each use; grill lid cover, grate and drip pan. I love this grill!

Works good but it is not smokeless by any means and it's kind of hard to clean. The top of the great cleans easily, but underneath where there is no coating is near impossible to clean.
