The Story of Napoleon

I loved this. I especially loved that my kids could listen and follow along the highlighted text.

So-so. This book may be difficult for modern children to read due to odd sounding, dated grammar and wording. Also, the time line was a bit scattered with some really gaping holes. However, there are not many children's books based on Napoleon, and this was for my nine year old's third grade biography themed book report. He said he enjoyed reading it....

This was a really good overview of Napoleon's life. I would recommend this book for junior high through high school students that want to learn who Napoleon was and what he did. I will be having my students read it this year.

Napoleon was very interesting, this book brought that to life.

I liked how the author described the story. It made me feel like I was there and I really like that. I recommend that you read this book NOW. Best history book EVER!! WOW

Within the first 2 pages I found several grammatical errors and I am not that good at grammar. Content is okay....only done with the 1st chapter but it seems like my 13 year old could have written this better as far as grammar goes.

I bought the book for the famous portraits. The story line in in the elementary grade level reading but the portraits are world class!

This book was an easy read and I would recommend it for younger readers. It was not as detailed as I had expected but it was still informative and educational.

Great the book underlines major events of the Napoleonic wars and Napoleons childhood

Good to introduce young children to Napoleon without a lot of the political additives that would be relevant for higher level of understanding. I found that I had to beef this up for my 12 year old, it would have been better when she was 8. Good introductory book.
