I purchased this Mr. Heater unit for camping and emergency backup use. I try to test mechanical objects asap after receiving them to make sure they function correctly. This definitely does function as described, lit easily, intuitive controls; low heat is steady and reliable; high heat is solid. Ran it for several minutes on each setting with a 1lb bottle with no issue. I have a hose/filter to connect a 20lb propane cylinder but have not tested that yet. Will report back if there are any issues. So far, it works as advertised and CAN be used indoors even though the instructions say you should not (likely due to liability issues). There are multiple youtube videos showing people using this heater indoors next to a CO meter and it burns very cleanly with no issues. Overall it's a good value and puts out heat!

This is a great heater! You dont ever need to be outside in the cold. This will keep you warm and get the job done. There is also an adaptor you can buy to refill the little green bottles for your larger propane tanks. By doing this it will save you money by refilling the green bottles instead of throwing them away.

Our house burnout 23, 2024 we were staying in a farmhouse with no heat sorcery so got this propane heater it never gave use any problems at all and kept us warm all winter even during Ky coldest times.

No smell, shut off if it tips over, lightweight, easy to start, lasts for a long time, wish the heat output was a little better but overall worth it!

Extremely made and awesome to have in a hunting blind on a cold day. Easy to use and very powerful for its portable size. Highly recommended.

This is the perfect heater to have in case of emergencies. I use it to camp as well. So versitile. Everyone should have at least one.

it seems i find myself getting a new one every year because after i loan mine out they want to keep it and just give me cash. loleveryone falls in love with them because they work so well.you can also use them to cook on in a pinch. you can find several youtube videos showing this trick that works great. if you do get one, your crazy if you dont, make sure you buy the name brand hose or buy a propane filter. oil from cheap propane hoses can leech into the heater and clog it up then you have to clean it. i found this out from my first one i bought years ago from home depot. that one is still working great in a friends off-grid lake cabin. note: this unit will run for 3 days 24/7 off a FULL 5 gallon tank of propane. again 3 days off a full 5 gallon tank on the low heat setting. 5 gallon tanks you get out of the propane stations only are filled 2/3rds. if you take in your tank to actually get filled they fill them all the way.
