I know these are not a tight face fitting mask, but I used similar masks prior to the pandemic, and where these were allowed, during the pandemic. Unfortunately, I encountered a number of locations that would not permit wearing of a mask with an exhaust value... even though they did allow masks of very questionable material and construction. At least for me, the carbon in the filter seems to reduce odors. I find them worth stocking up on.

Sometimes these filters are great. Sometimes these filters flake/pull apart on the inside, creating very uncomfortable fibers that annoy you all day (or until you are forced to change them well before the day is out). Pulling the fibers out doesn't help either -- you just end up with additional annoying fibers. Although filters are only truly good for about 4 hours, I expect them to last more than 1-2 before giving out. Quality control is still out of reach for this company.

I bought these filter as replacements for a brand I like but I cannot get in stock right now. While wearing it if I haven't shaved my beard starts to pull out the mask from inside. Making it uncomfortable. They do fit my mask fairly well but for this fact I may not be ordering them again. The interior cotton is sort of cheap.

Vent holes were a little small and tore when putting in my mask, and a little small as well.
