This is a Fantastic phone
I do not have a smart phones and previously had a Nokia 6310, 3310, and latterly a Nokia 105. This Nokia phone is soooo much better than the Nokia 105. The calendar function is excellent with many more than the 25 calendar reminders reported elsewhere. I have 50 calendar entries at the moment. You have limited website access thro' the opera operating system if/when you really need it. It has text message conversation tracking, a torch, a decent camera for very basic snaps. It has blue tooth. It is light but with a big enough screen for easy use.The battery lasts a week with moderate use.It plays radio WITHOUT the need for a headphone lead, and the speaker quality is really good for a phone at this price point and size. You can load music up to a micro sim in the phone. It has dual SIM facility. It takes a standard SIM card ( Not micro or nano - unless they are embedded within a standard sim frame. If you are smart phone phobic or just need a simple communication device for the grandparents or kids then I would thoroughly recommend this phone.

Nice and simple.
I am not a phone buff, I fact I hate seeing people walking down the street totally engaged it "The Phone" So all I want is a simple phone, I save my internet work for the lap top at home.Given that I had a very simple Nokia phone to start with, I wanted a no nonsense phone to replace it. And one that my existing sim would go straight into. The reason I changed to the Nokia 5310 was more to do with battery life than any thing else, You just cant get original batteries for the early Nokias, They all seem to be copy's and bit u/s.So after much research on Amazon I chose the Nokia 5310. Good decision ,And at £30 ish good price. Really really easy to change over to this phone with my EE sim ( I think my sim is Micro size held is a small plastic surround thing ?) Well the only bother I had was that for some reason I repeatedly put the sim in back to front, My problem totally, after correcting that gaff all was well.I would have no trouble to recommend this phone for the simple minded phone people. Or put a better way for those that require a simple to use phone that is non smart. ---Up date, after having the phone for a week or two I have discovered a fault---ring tone, why does my phone not ring when a call comes in, a rare thing on my phone, It does not help when you realise its your self that's turned the ring volume down does it.. The long red + and - on the left had side, also turns down the ring town( or up). ??? being its over long as soon as you pick up the phone you have altered the ring tone loudness.. You cant help doing it co its right in the place your hand goes. Beware. I am looking for a hard case to stop this , not found one yet.

De-Googling your life? Start here.
The song says "don't you know you can never go back?". Well it's fun to prove it wrong with this little phone. Is the collective power of Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter et al worrying you as much as it does most sane people? Of course it is, you wouldn't be a thinking, feeling human being if it didn't. So instead of moaning about it I made the leap to this. Been using it for six months now as my main phone. As a simple phone you can't go wrong. Calls are clear, the audio on your music is really good (it even has Bluetooth headphone compatibility), and there's not much more to say. There's some pre-installed garbage here but it's not too bad I suppose. I stuck a 16Gb SD card in to add some storage. I wouldn't want to go much higher on a low-powered device. So what I will draw your attention to are the things that have bugged me. It's a great phone but the keypad lock is a pain. It doesn't lock the control buttons alongside the sides of the phone, so if you catch the volume control buttons there it will still turn your volume down on your alarms etc. even when locked. Also, for some reason the audio volume on your alarms is really high if you put your own MP3's on. I have a nice soothing alarm sound that I dropped on the phone, but it damn near terrified the whole street the next morning. I had to use a program called Audacity to lower the volume on the MP3 and then stuck the file back on. I also had some trouble using cheap Asda Onn Bluetooth headphones on this supposedly compatible phone. Tried three pairs, same issue. Sound kept cutting out, spoiling the playback no matter what I did. Back to wired then. Another thing worth considering with this phone is the keypad itself. It's very small and the buttons are not separate, being along a horizontal grid. It's easy enough to catch buttons you didn't mean to hit. The text on the buttons is very small too, so this won't be suitable for older people or perhaps those with less than 20-20 vision. But for £30, if you are serious about The Great (Digital) Escape, I don't think you can go wrong as a starting point. I hope these types of phones start to offer different things as time goes on, outside of adding crap like Google Assistant and WhatsApp, which will run like rubbish anyway on something like this and no one wants them. There's still interesting things you could do with non-Smart phone tech guys. People are here because they don't want Google or Facebook or Twitter apps at all. Keep them off!

Absolutely love it.
I’m not into smart phones with their ability to do everything except make a phone call when you need to because of the rubbish battery.Keep it simple. Always had Nokia’s and I absolutely love this one. I have 2 sims, one personal and one for work and this 2 sim phone is perfect. You can add a memory card too which you can store piccies, movies and tunes on.It’s got a bright torch, loud ring, easy display, excellent signal and volume. The ability to disable a sim or keep both on and personalise setting for each SIM card. I love it.Only charged it once when I had it and it’s lasted for ages.Did come with a two pin plug and non english instructions which was a bit daft but it’s a simple phone and the instruction booklet is online anyway. It’s a nice size, a lot lighter than my metal Nokia 6330 and comfy in the hand.Would recommend the phone.
