With a good file, you don't have to have a file handle but it does make things a lot better when you do. It fit the 6" Grobet File great. It is the right size and grip. It is well made so it should be durable. It was worth it to me to buy it.

These handles are made of good quality materials, and fit nicely in you palm.

I can’t give it a bad review. But my file just doesn’t fit. The tang on my flat file is about 1/8” x 1/4” and I cannot enlarge the hole. I expect that I will have to grind down the tang on my file to make it fit.

Good value for a consistent, tried and true design. For me, I want a wood handle not plastic for my files and I like the simple yet practical shape of this design.

High quality files handles. Easy to attach to your file and does not come of easily.
