The Elegantly Simple Solution to Pacifier Attrition – A True Game-Changer
As parents, we quickly realized the near-constant struggle of pacifier maintenance: dropped, lost under the crib, or ejected from the bassinet within moments of settling. The Wubbanub Giraffe is, simply put, a brilliantly engineered solution to this common, low-stakes parental crisis. The integration of the hospital-grade pacifier with the generously sized, weighted plush giraffe is its genius. The slight weight of the animal provides just enough counter-leverage to keep the pacifier from rolling too far or being entirely lost to the abyss of the crib mattress. More importantly, it gives the baby a substantial, tactile grip that facilitates early self-soothing. Our little one quickly learned to locate the large, brightly colored giraffe and maneuver the pacifier back into place long before developing the necessary fine motor skills to manage a plain pacifier and clip system. Beyond its functional utility, the giraffe itself is adorable, serves as an excellent visual cue, and has become a cherished "lovey" and transitional object as our child navigates new sleep environments. It holds up impeccably to frequent washing (a non-negotiable feature for infant items) and the integrated design is far safer and less cumbersome than fiddling with external chains or clips. For the value it provides in reducing frustration—both for the baby and the sleep-deprived parent—this product earns my highest recommendation. It is a thoughtful design that addresses a critical need in early infancy.

Best Baby Product....EVER
We LOVE the Wubs!! I'm sure the makers of this are millionaires- and they should be. We have about 5 of them and our daughter loves each and every one- she loves to rub them on her face too to put herself to sleep. If you try to give her a normal paci she will scream her head off- but the moment she feels the wub she calms down. This is a gift we recommend to any new parent. Even if you don't think you will be a paci family.... In case you are new to the wub- they are small soft stuffed animals that are sewn onto an Avent Pacifier. This particular frog seemed softer than our first frog wub we got (but that may be because our first frog has been washed so many times). Pros: Washable- this is huge, you just throw them in the washing machine and they come out sanitary and looking new again. They are usually practically dry when they come out so I can give them to our daughter right away if need be. Helps with weaning paci's- We have started trying to only allowing wub's in the crib. We actually bought this frog to cut the paci off and give her just the frog for when she is playing. She notices the paci is not there but when its the only option she still loves him! Helps you not lose it (as quickly)- We went through several normal paci's when she was a newborn, would set it down somewhere and then it was gone! The wub helps it to stand out. Seems trivial- but when you have a newborn and your baby is screaming its vital! Variety- they are just so darn cute! There are so many different animals, and it's so much cuter than her having a normal paci. It's also fun to see how much she has grown- the frog was half the size of her when she was born! Cons- There aren't many! They do get dirty -but again you can wash them. The only con is that my child won't take a normal paci, so if i forget to give one to the babysitter I am heading back with it.

Best pacifier ever!
I loved that my baby can hug the small stuffed animal and tuck the pacifier. She loved it. It is machine washable and as soon as you take it out, it does not really need to be dried as it is dried already and is ready to be used. I thought it was a bigger giraffe and was disappointed at first to see it so tiny, but I believe it is the appropriate size for an infant not to choke on. It is a pricey ($13-$14 ea.). Wish it was half price, and wish I could replace pacifiers on the stuffed animal, but can not, since it is sewed with stitches to the giraffe. BabyHaven is really professional and nice. When I received other regular Soothie pacifiers in damaged boxes, they offered to send me replacements for free. Hoping to receive them soon by mail. ---------------------------------------- Edited April 8, 2013: I now have an Amazon Prime Membership with my Amazon Mom membership, I receive everything in 2 days and can return items with no hassle. Back when I bought the Wubbanub and Avent Soothie Pacifiers from BabyHaven, I thought they proposed to send me free pacifiers to replace the damaged packages I received but they did not and wanted me to pay for the return shipping rate. They said since product is not damage it is my responsibility. They tucked 6 Avent soothie pacifiers and 3 wubbanub pacifiers in one small bubbly envelop!!! The Avent Soothie's package was ruined but they did not care. They were not so professional what so ever. We are treated better when we get the Prime Membership as we deal with Amazon directly versus with the seller. Packaging is better, as they send in a boxes even small ones versus in an envelop that gets ur package damaged from shipping. Would still recommend the product though. My daughter stopped taking the pacifier around 4 months, but she loves to play with the tiny stuffed animal and chew on it sometimes :) So cute!

Babies favorite
Our baby’s absolute favorite! Such a fun, cute little animal with pacifier attachment. Love that it is both a stuffed animal and a pacifier to comfort the baby, very versatile. Our daughter had hers from birth until the age of three and now our son has his as a baby, they are very durable and last a very long time, even after being washed and utilize daily. My only complaint is I wish at the pacifier came in different colors. Perfect for babies through toddler age! Makes a cute gift for a new baby as well!

We 💚 WubbaNubs
I purchased this product after using the Phillips Avent Soothie Pacifiers for my little daughter. They are the only pacifiers she has ever taken. It's also the kind they gave her while she was in the NICU at the hospital. I am so glad someone came up with this idea! Pros: 1. Cute animal for girls or boys. 2. Easy to keep track of - easy to see in a dark bedroom at night & also when you are holding the baby, they are much easier to grab as they are falling than a Paci alone. 3. Stays in better than a Soothie Paci by itself - we often prop the animal on her chest and she seems to love holding on to the soft stuffed animal & can even sometimes push it back into her own mouth. She has also learned over time to guide it into her mouth on her own. 4. Durable - after several washes in the machine, it seems to be holding up just fine. Cons: 1. Tedious cleaning - I usually wash them on gentle in the washing machine but worry about my daughter ingesting detergent residue so I usually then wash off the pacifier top with a pacifier wipe. 2. Falls out - not as much as when it's only the pacifier - could just be my daughters tongue pushing it out or something but I think worth mentioning.

BEST IDEA EVER
Firstly, This Pacifier has a round end on it. So if your baby is not used to this type of pacifier, they might Not like this one. It is Permanently attached to the stuffed animal, it does not detach for cleaning! The stuffed animal is lightweight, stuffed with cotton. I like the Wubbanub because it is Easy to Find, no more going crazy trying to find the small pacifier! Even very young infants can grasp at the animal pacifier, it is amazing to watch them, holding onto the Wubbanub, thusly holding onto the pacifier! Somehow it keeps the pacifier in babys mouth, especially while baby is lying down. At night it is invaluable for a parents good nights sleep; if your baby loves the pacifier! I've found the perfect way to keep the pacifier clean, just buy the pacifier wipes and use them to keep it clean and sanitized. This Giraffe is Loved so much that one stays home and one is even kept in the diaper bag, heaven forbid we loose one! I really like the Giraffe because it is so easy for little hands to hold onto so many of the little legs. This Wubbanub should be looked over occasionally, just to make sure there are no holes or stuffing coming out, this is Not a Teething Toy!, remember it is, just a pacifier with an attached stuffed animal! .

Great product, but a risk of choking hazard!
The wubbanub really helps keep the pacifier in your baby's mouth! Before I always had to get up and give it back to my son, but with the wubbanub it's easy for him to keep it in and there being an animal attached to it makes it very easy for him to put it back in his mouth himself without help. I believe introducing him to this pacifier so early was a great choice. He started playing with stuffed little toys much earlier than most children do and he also started feeding himself a bottle on his own at 4.5 months. I think the wubbanub really helps the baby develope hand eye coordination. My son loves his wubbanub and that's the only pacifier he will use. The one flaw about the product, and its definitely an important one, is that there is a possible choking hazard. The first wubbanub I purchased was the lamb one. After about 3 months of use I looked over at my son one day and the ear of the lamb had ripped off and the very tip of it was sticking out of his mouth (he had a habit of sucking on the ears all the time) luckily I caught it and ran over to take it from him. I was very upset this happend and almost didn't buy another one. I could understand for the ear to fall off after a long time, but after 3 months of use starting from my 2 month old? Like I said before my son will not take another pacifier, and if he does he accepts it for about 5 minutes before he starts to scream with frustration. I decided to purchase another wubbanub, but carefully made the decision to get one without any ears, tails, etc. I bought the frog. My son has now been using the frog wubbanub for 2.5 months and it's still intact and in good condition. The wubbanub was a great idea and makes things a lot easier on both you and baby, but I think they should have been more careful with the animals they chose for the designs. I'd most definitely recommend this to anyone, but I'd recommend the frog. It might not he the cutest one, but I believe it is the safest!
