DuPont Tychem 2000 Coveralls

This is a well made suit with taped seams to make it very water resistant. There is a peel and stick adhesive strip on the front zipper flap that I wasn't expecting but the cover strip detached with minimal handling because the adhesive is almost nonexistent. If you need the flap taped shut over the zipper, plan on using your own tape. The advertisement stated, "The elastic wrists and ankles offer a snug fit" and the picture shows elastic ankle cuffs, but the suit I received had no elastic ankle cuffs as I had expected and needed. Instead, I received a suit with built-in booties that seemed too large to be worn inside my shoes but they're too small to fit over my size 13 boots. The material is thin enough that I can stuff it into my boots although it folds in several places to fit, but that will channel water into my boots. I wanted the elastic cuffs that I can wear outside my boots, as advertised. I didn't want to open the plastic bag sealing the suit until needed, but once needed, it was too late to return the suit for one with the ankle cuffs. I guess I'll cut off the booties and have no ankle cuffs.
