Over The Line Party Game- A Hilarious Acting and Drawing Word Card Guessing Game

For all those saying if you're over 30 years old you won't understand this...I call bullsh*t. I am turning 34 in 2 days and think this game is hilarious! I played it with friends this past weekend and we were laughing so hard we were crying! Basically you pick a card from a stack and can draw it out (pictionary style) or act it out (charade's style). A timer is going and your team member, or the individuals (depending on how you play), have to guess the phrase/word. If it's guessed before the time is up, you grab another card and start doing that. It is pretty dirty, so make sure you pick your group right. This is the perfect party game for any group of open adults! Our favorite game used to be Adult Charades, but this new game takes the cake! The combination of charades and pictionary makes even those who are self conscious about acting love to play. Just be sure you are comfortable with those you're playing with!Game Play:The game comes with tons (3.5 large decks) of cards. Split up into 2 teams and one person draws a card. He can then choose to act OR draw out what's described on the card. If his team guesses the correct word, they keep the card and he chooses another card to act or draw. This continues til the 90 second timer runs out. At time, the other team has a chance to guess - if guessed correctly, that team steals the card. First to 20 cards wins.

A fun game for adults and fans of Cards Against Humanity. With the ability to either draw out the playing card or act it out in charades, the ability to laugh and have a good time seem endless. The only problem that I had was that some of the cards were basically just dirty words paired together for no reason, which made them incredibly difficult for teammates to solve. They came off as if kids who learned about swearing just started putting words together to see who could come up with the dirtiest pairing.

Researching reviews before purchasing this game for my brother paid off! This game is one of the most hilarious times ever! It's play is pretty simple (which helps when you've had a few adult beverages!) and the concept is easy to grasp, but the cards and the actual game play is a RIOT!! Too funny! My brother and I actually played this with our parents... not sure if the average family could do that, but we had a blast! This is fun with 4 players, I'm sure it would be great with more also. BEST GAME EVER! More fun than Cards against Humanity!! I would caution that some of the cards have terms that I had never heard of, but a quick google solves that, even if you don't want to see it!!

I was in a hurry to order a new drawing/charades-esque game, and failed to read the reviews; shame on me. This game is advertised as being "hilarious," when abhorrent is a more appropriate adjective. I can't fathom how acting out or drawing phrases like "concentration camp, lynching, school shooting, virgin rape, and puppy killer" would add fun and frivolity to anyone's game night. Let's face it, some topics are not funny, can never be made to be funny, and are in bad taste to take lightly. If you are a racist, misogynist, and homophobe, then this is the game for you. I needed a shower after reading some of these cards. This was a waste of my money. Lesson learned--always read the reviews!

It's funny and the more people playing the better but does work with 4. Great for those that can't draw because you can choose to act it out. Only negative is some of the cards make absolutely no sense. We find ourselves having to skip them because they are not able to be acted or drawn out because they make zero sense. Almost like they just stuck dirty words together but they don't go together. Cards against humanity is staple in our house but we have played it so much we wanted an alternative and this does do the trick for that but they could improve on the cards a bit. Quality of the cards and box is good.

This game is amazing. We are huge fans of Cards Against Humanity and its various vulgar expansion packs, but had started to grow a bit tired of the game having played it so much. Saw this on Amazon and figured we'd give it a shot. We had 8 people playing it the other night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. As with other similar games, if you are easily offended this is not a game for you. However, if you are sick and demented this game is for you.We played in 2 teams of 4 players each and it was a riot. Some of the cards were a fair bit more offensive than the ones in the picture.

Great game. Definitely need good humour and thick skin to play it haha. I highly recommend it if you’re someone who likes cards against humanity humour. Only complaint is the dry erase marker started giving out after an hour

Really enjoyed this game, played it with a group of friends on New Year’s Eve. If you are dirty minded and enjoyed cards against humanity this game is for you. It comes with the white board and dry erase marker, you either act out the card or draw it. Dirty inappropriate version of Pictionary + Charades

This is definitely not a game you want to play around kids or younger teenagers. Once the game gets going it is hilarious. Kind of an X-rated cross between Pictionary and Charades.

If you’re not too WOKE, you’ll enjoy this fun and highly inappropriate game with your friends. Laughter is pretty much guaranteed! FYI it’s not for the sensitive types!

I was looking for a party game for New Years… took a chance as the description sounded like it would be fun… and that it was!! It is ABSOLUTELY not a family game… but with friends you will laugh so so hard!
